As mainly a Mortal Kombat player, this controller setup you've shown has saved my ASS. I LOVE playing King in any Tekken game and having a control scheme similar to Mortal Kombat is a live saver.
Rolling Death Cradle actually has a nice shortcut too. All you need to do "manually" is the grab (f, N, d, df+1+4), first extension (2, 1+2, 1+2+3), and then make sure to hit 1+3 once before starting to mash ki charge. Works every time!

Yeah I went from being a pretty decent King player being able to do a few of his combos to now I'm as high as I've ever been in ranked this is insanely helpful

Ye king had those combos since ps1 i think there where even more and longer ones back then 😂😂 there where tons like maybe 30 35 40 combos and now its like 15 24 combos
I have only executed the chain leading into the giant swing 3x in my life, and it was vs my family member...never did the chain leading to death cradle, but this may just help me...THANKS
@@benf2682 absolutely not. This is just one simplified grab chain. You can break it with 1 so almost no one gets caught by it. Good king mains will use actual chains.

The third one doesnt seem to work out for me. Used the Same Keybinds just like you and combo 1 and 2 are working just fine but the third one doesnt . I did unterstood correctly it is R3 down forward spam R3 ? Even watched on 0,5 speed for at least 20 times but it does not work
I learned all this combo for myselft arround 17 years ago probably it was on arcade machines and now there is shortcuts... a bit sad for old players like me

I haven't had the all 4 buttons shortcut in the previous games, but I did assign two-button shortcuts to L1, L2, R1 and R2 and the chain throws were fairly easy to perform. I already learnt some grapple combos with King prior to watching this video, but this is a nice life hack coz I don't have to remember all the inputs :D

You need to press 3+4, 2+3, 1, 4, and then you spam L3. Otherwise you're gonna end up with just two hit combo.
