First time I beat a professional boxer in the gym I was so hyped and I wouldn't stfu to my brother who watched me smoke this guy every round (I chose not to KO him cuz I'm not a dick in training).
Definitely. If you train martial arts because it’s a passion then that’s great because you are learning a valuable skill and discipline that strengthens your body and mind. I remember one guy said to me before we sparred "hey man don't hit me too hard it's my first time" then the guy runs at me like a freight train trying to murder me with right hands. I told him that's it I'm done because I had already gassed myself out training before because he told me we were going light. 😄 Learned a valuable lesson that day. If I don't know you and you ask to spar we aren't holding back we're going 100 percent cuz too many randos pop up in the gym and you can't trust them to do light sparring.

@@3lastname390 basically except he was around 220 pounds, 6'3, and a brick shit house vs me at 170 6'0" (at the time). Even told him hey dude I'm too tired to box let's just spar after him putting all his body weight in his punches. He still didn't stop so I said that's enough dude. He never hit me clean or rocked me but I was so tired it was going to happen
@@3lastname390 also I tried to break his hands by giving him the crown of my head but those 16 oz gloves protected his hands good. Like how bhop and Miguel cotto would go forward with their crowns so they wouldn't get punched in the face unless the guy split his guard with an uppercut
Khabib is so awesome. He honestly seems like a great guy. I know that being American his lifestyle and culture is vastly different than ours but we gotta respect him. He's a God fearing man just like most of America and values family more than anything.

He is actually right. The reason for why he did what he did was that so his kids wouldn't have to do it, to give them a better life where they wouldn't have to go through what he went through.
