We can say the words but the actual witnessing requires that we think, that we we process the information and then we come to a conclusion: 'I bear witness'. Not 'I heard' or 'They told me'. 'I bear witness'. I have thought and come to a conclusion. So thinking is applied to religion too. Alhamdulilaah.
