Mozart wrote this, the film's music director deconstructed the piece to make it sound "bad" and then "brilliant". Salieri wrote sublime and beautiful music, 99% of the movie going audience wouldn't know the difference between the two.

First, I really thought that Salieri had composed this and was inserted into the movie Amadeus. Only later did I realise that this was the Salieri's welcome march from Amadeus. Title was a bit misleading :)
Ramachandran Srinivasan yes, this piece never really existed unless you count Mozart’s “variations” which is just non più andrai, I may make just my take on the welcome March though soon
Amadeus is the definition of an amazing movie this little composition they made for the movie is really fun and catchy. Also HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAHHAA!!!!
The scene shows how devoted and submissive Salieri is to the emperor. Salieri knew that the emperor was a dilettante on the pianoforte and that the piece was under his hands will come out unprofessional. The Emperor wanted to play it, and Salieri dared not object.
That's fiction. They deconstructed a Mozart piece to make it sound crappy then played it correctly. Salieri was a kind, generous person and a musical genius and in his time the undisputed master of vocal music.
Because this isn't salieri's music, this is Mozart's, because it's portrayed in the movie as Salieri people think of the movie. It's one of my favorite movies though. Like you can hear parts of Figaro and some other stuff in there.
Yes, unlike my other videos, the rest is the same. But, while we’re on the topic of my videos, allow me to direct you to the smorgasbord of content and styles of music on The Pianiolist channel.
Remember, it was actually not Mozart who was doing the laughing, but the "actor". People are so captivated by the movie, they attribute the funny laughter to Mozart. Who knows whether the real Mozart actually laughed like that.
PHOENIFLAME xLaczek I was contemplating on putting an accelerando there so that it was more accurate but if you ask me for the sheet music you can add the accelerando
This armony is based in the march "Non piu andrai" in "Les noces de Figaro". First he plays de bagatella, so after Mozart plays the real music of Non Piu Andrai", like this, It seems a great improvisation but everything was perfectly planned by the scriptwriter.
Did anybody else actually hear the maniacal laughter in their head right after the piece was finished?..
Omg yes me!!!

The original piece, ostensibly composed by Salieri is something that the real Salieri almost certainly wouldn't have presented to his king.
I have listened to Salieri and it sounds as boring and cookie cutter as the movie makes it out to be.
Yeah but Salieri actually very good at all.
