- Welcome to my channel, if you are new here let me introduce myself. My name is Tyler Magnussen I am located in NW Iowa. We are a family farm and I plan on being the 4th generation. I figured I would start a youtube channel and show everybody what it is like to get into agriculture starting at an early age. I definitely have a lot to learn, but I still know a lot for only being 15. If you enjoy my videos please like and subscribe it really helps me out.

It's amazing how easy farmers have it nowadays. It's like farming is not farming anymore.
I planted all my corn old school..No computers, monitors, or air co. Just Busch light and like it that way..

How large is your farm?
Do you also buy machines together with other farmers so it is better busy? or is it not usual in USA?
We are a small family farm. In our area of the US we are a below average farm. My dad is the guy who owns the farms completely, so he happens to be the one who buys the machines for our farm. Great question!

What kind of fertilisers do u use for corn ? &how deep do u sow it ?
For nitrogen we use anhydrous ammonia. We plant it around 2.25 inches deep

@@danieltschida1522 an 8530 would have more power, but our 8285R would be newer.
