its been a year and 3 months since I bought lenovo legion 5 with ryzen 7 4800 h and GTX 1650 ti G card. i Gotta tell you people, its exactly as good as new. the best laptop these days. the hinge quality is too good. I have faced no problem with the laptop so far. and I use it for 6 to 10 hours a day, I use photoshop, illustrator, dimension and casually I play some games like GTA and REd dead Redemption. worth every penny.

Lenovo Legion laptops are really underrated. Asus rog are always so overhyped but people don't realise that looks don't matter 😑 . Will definitely go for Legions this year. Bhaiya Legion 7i and 7i Slim bhi review karna please🙂
Rogs are not over hyped man. Every other brand knows that Rog are kings of gaming. Laptop gaming is not primary thing for Rog. Their main thing is gaming for Pc components.But where they lack is giving basic features like webcam and slighlty bulky. Legion is better because they give keep their product balanced as their main profit is through laptops be it productiv/gaming. Personally being a Rog fan, still I would go for the Legion 5/7 anyday.

I think last years legion 5 pro gives a comparable performance ( same specs with ryzen 7 5800h) and is cheaper. I don't think I'll buy the intel version for 1.65 lacs cos that is too overpriced whereas last years gen 6 costs 1.37 lacs only. I'm probably buying that one

Really like your work.... Just that.... I think gta 5 should not be in the gaming benchmark list anymore rather go for more or multiplayer games / co-op play games .... Like DBD , Propnight , Armored Warfare , etc etc. GTA 5 should only be considered for low end / budget friendly laptops

legion series never disappoints in any aspect and the games he tested in video, I have also played with the same settings (or the highest VRAM possible) somewhere around last 2 yrs and it's totally worth it. Mine is the old version of lenovo legion 5i (mid range variant)

One thing I like about this guy is the consistency in the quality of the videos. Never did I ever feel that any of your videos is boring. All the videos are Top Notch 👌🏻. OP is the word that defines this channel.
I just want to say that - 1) Currently the performance difference between DDR4 and DDR5 is almost negligible. This is because the currently available DDR5 Ram have higher latency as compared to DDR4 and latency matter more for gaming compared to speed. 2) Undervolting is no longer supported for Intel 11th gen and onwards except the 'K' CPUs. So I don't think this 12700H will support Undervolting. The i9-12900HK type versions of higher versions will probably do support it.

Legion is best performance for the price. Tuf, msi are cheaper with same specs but the quality, performance and extra features that legion provides is better. Always go for legion if budget permits. I got legion 7 (5800H / 3060) for INR 110k in a deal. Worth it

Yeap the screen hinge are intact, unlike my hp omen which keeps dancing if the ceiling fan is on. The worst part of hp in India is that there is no return policy after opening the box. And there was no way for me to find out about the laptop without opening the box.

On my 2nd omen I receive a faulty keyboard out of the box. Worst hinges. Not only that much my other hp notebook came with faulty hard disk out of the box. Hp is horrible! I will buy accer instead of horrible pee. But legion is awesome!

I wanted to ask that they have added another model of legion 5i which has it 12th gen at 128k , but it had customisation option and so i added whatever difference I could find between the i7 and i5 one and it amounted to roughly same , so would both of them be exactly same because then in the customisation I can upgrade 512 SSD to 1tb SSD giving me the desired config I wanted Also it had an option to upgrade to 32gb ram for 9k , would that be worth it?

I see 2 models on the official website. 1. Legion 5i @ 145k 2. Legion 5i Pro @ 165k The only differences between 2 are the display with 16:9 vs 16:10 aspect ratio, 300 nits vs 500 nits, and 512GB vs 1TB SSD. Is it worth the extra 20k? And does anybody know if or when the AMD 6800H version will be launched and at what price point? Also, are we getting a 3070 variant of this? In my opinion, getting the Predator Helios 300 RTX 3070 @ 174K seems like a better deal than the Legion 5i Pro @ 165k.

What would be the best option for a working professional who also needs atleast 4-5 hours of battery life?

Should I wait longer for another laptop or go for anything that's around for 2000-2200 USD?
Looking for usually 17.3 inch or so for better screen as I am working on large data and visualizations. Small screen makes tough to work on large models

I just want to say that -
1) Currently the performance difference between DDR4 and DDR5 is almost negligible.
This is because the currently available DDR5 Ram have higher latency as compared to DDR4 and latency matter more for gaming compared to speed.
2) Undervolting is no longer supported for Intel 11th gen and onwards except the 'K' CPUs.
So I don't think this 12700H will support Undervolting. The i9-12900HK type versions of higher versions will probably do support it.
No, I have recently tested it i7-12700h can be undervolted using Throttlestop 😄😄.

Legion is best performance for the price. Tuf, msi are cheaper with same specs but the quality, performance and extra features that legion provides is better. Always go for legion if budget permits. I got legion 7 (5800H / 3060) for INR 110k in a deal. Worth it

Yeap the screen hinge are intact, unlike my hp omen which keeps dancing if the ceiling fan is on.
The worst part of hp in India is that there is no return policy after opening the box. And there was no way for me to find out about the laptop without opening the box.

My previous omen I had horrible service.
On my 2nd omen I receive a faulty keyboard out of the box. Worst hinges. Not only that much my other hp notebook came with faulty hard disk out of the box.

I wanted to ask that they have added another model of legion 5i which has it 12th gen at 128k , but it had customisation option and so i added whatever difference I could find between the i7 and i5 one and it amounted to roughly same , so would both of them be exactly same because then in the customisation I can upgrade 512 SSD to 1tb SSD giving me the desired config I wanted
Also it had an option to upgrade to 32gb ram for 9k , would that be worth it?

The only differences between 2 are the display with 16:9 vs 16:10 aspect ratio, 300 nits vs 500 nits, and 512GB vs 1TB SSD. Is it worth the extra 20k? And does anybody know if or when the AMD 6800H version will be launched and at what price point? Also, are we getting a 3070 variant of this?
In my opinion, getting the Predator Helios 300 RTX 3070 @ 174K seems like a better deal than the Legion 5i Pro @ 165k.
5i pro will only come in 3070ti.
This is 5i with 3060. And due to foreign unit there's some differences.
