This is a bit outdated video unfortunately, so just wanted to give a few pointers! For example a lot of the weaknesses mentioned were addressed in updates. Pathfinder’s burst perfectly fits in 10 seconds as there’s an upgraded fury tempest. Not having an can be adjusted with holding astra (60% damage reduction). And the burst shield also shields teammates + gives CD so PF offers some support. Relic also can be fixed now so huge QOL updates.
When I mained pf in the main server, I never really needed more than 2 pairs of boost nodes, though arguably I wasn't high level enough to use more, but still lotus and damien where easy enough to kill. The nerfs of course hurt, but being able to install the turrets now actually makes quite a difference. Some things that are nice to know if they haven't been changed: The barrier skill increases critical damage, so if you are confident enough it's good for burst. Ancient astra reduces %hp damage while it's being channelled. Triple impact will stop you from being pushed back by attacks during its animation, which can help avoid being knocked off Lotus platforms during the laser or other similar situations. Triple impact can also extend the time you stay in the air, allowing you the chance to chain two cardinal torrents without losing height, which can be useful if you need to dodge certain annoying attacks but aren't in a good position to do so normally (too far from a platform in lotus during the laser, but also the dragon in Lucid p1). The chaining would be, for both those situations, up jump, sideways cardinal torrent, triple impact and sideways cardinal torrent again. The mobility of this class is amazing.

If you have one as a bossing mule, you don't need to max all the nodes. And because the 6job patch will add extra node slots, the node situation is pretty fine too Also, Buff PF

PF its just fun in my opinion. One of the main reasons to play PF is grinding after all.. imagine starting a new character that can easy mob monsters between lvl 30 to 250. And yes, I agree that PF are not the OG for bossing, but put yourself in a party and that's all you need. Also with enough Link skills you can easily start to pick on Lotus or Damien. I'm a bowman player.. I've started with bowmaster, wind archer, wild hunter, Mercedes, then PF and Kain.. I dunno why I've never played Marksman, but the point is that between all of these classes, when I was planning to start on Reboot after taking a long break from Maple, I figured that the best archer class was PF (and I returned last year). i tried to play a pf for fun when i returned back to maple and until now i main a lvl 255 pf.. and a huge reason why i think its popular is a returning mapler after yrs, its extremely easy to master pf and how less overwhelming it is to play it as long as you get the hang of the relic gauge and its patterns.. it may be less op than other class but it is easier to manage skills, buffs without worrying about dying
I currently have a 240 pf nslime mule. If you're not a pf main, you definitely dont need to upgrade 6 skills. Deluge, burst, and glyph is more than enough. You also take 60% reduced damage while channeling pf's hyper skill ancient astra, helps you a lot in bosses with one shot mechanics.
if ur maining u only need macro/glyph as a trio. When it comes to the second trio which is mobbing either torrent or shadow raven or triple impact or ancient astra because it doesnt really matter what u get for the 6th boost to really pf is 5 skills. only time u woudl want the 3 trio boost nodes is if they revert triple impact
The way you showed off pf's burst is quite outdated. You briefly mentioned that Tempest has a stronger version when used together with Fury of the Wild. Pathfinders burst used to be slow but ever since Tempest got buffed you can land your entire burst in the span of like 10 seconds, fast enough to fit into Erda Nova's bind duration.
PF is good again? Used to be my main, but when it was nerfed I stopped playing completely. 2:28 lmao, and here I am at level 250 never using a macro for those two skills. I always only used the Burst ability ._.
Some tips: depending on your ping you may want to separate your macro by placing it like burst -> blank -> deluge OR burst -> deluge -> blank Obsidian barrier in the deluge form can give shield to party members (very helpful when going into lotus, so people who lag don't 1hit die from the lasers. Same thing for Will p3 before the cutscene) Although the deluge form of Relic Unbound is the highest dmg output, bosses that move around makes it difficult for it to do max dmg, therefore most times, binding and using the burst form of relic unbound is more useful. I love pathfinder but had to switch mains because of it's huge nerfs. It's better now but not worth going back to it again after funding another main
buff pf..!! bossing on this class is so frustrating and it feels so weak compared to other classes. mobbing and grinding are so much fun but the lack of burst damage is so hard to work with in mid/end-game bossing. i love pf and i dont see myself ever switching mains (253 rn) but she definitely needs some more love on the bossing side of things.

PF was overly nerfed because of the community imo. EVERYONE was so ticked comparing their class while not realize everything was getting remastered and scaled up in maplestory anyway.
You didn't even use/showcase Fury of the wild tempest a single time in the video, despite saying you get a stronger tornado when using fury of the wild. Your standard tornado doesn't get stronger, you have to proc the 2nd version of it yourself. :c
