I ride motorcycles on the daily, so a while back I started wearing exclusively boots. Boots need to be broken in. I have heard it arbitrarily said (and I agree) that it takes about 24 hours of walking to break in a pair of boots. I now personally find my chukkas more comfortable than a pair of sneakers. Just not certain comfort should be a deterrent from owning boots or defaulting to them.
