Not a protagonist that needs hate or fury to achieve the next evolution, but simply joy. Now, we all get it. What a unique and fitting way for Luffy. So great to see so many people legitimately having fun watching this legendary episode. What a great time - especially without the Orochi scene.

some of the OP fans were disappointed because how cartoonish it seemed but in reality everything was so amazingly pieced together, from multiple type of animation techniques to music. and on top of everything. LUFFY's VA did an outstanding job. she is old. too old for this scene but she nailed it to the point i want to give her hug and tell her she did justice to this scene.

he was inspired by the looney tunes in general you see multiple references in gear 5 like Taz, Popeye (ik not a looney tunes), Roadrunner..

I think the red one is from luffy and the light yellow is from joyboy or prolly Nika himself, i mean they stated that zoan type DF has a will on it's own, specially this human human type zoan that bares the name of a God, so prolly it's Nika's supreme haki (the light yellow).
