Sayori created these two girls years before the first Nekopara hentai one-shot was released lol. This was also quite some time before the release of the first game, way back around 2008. Their designs were much more of an edgy, gothic lolita look back then lol (and sometimes quite lewd)

Ummm, update for you. Chocolate and Vanilla not youngest as of Thursday last week. that belong to the kitten Cacao. Who was officially adopted and named. Umm pretty sure they were brought home and suffered a really bad cold straight away. Ummm Chocola is the short form of her name, as her full name chocolate. Like Coconut is called nuts.
Actually, Chocola _is_ her full name. Technically you'd be mostly correct about her Japanese name (where she's called Chocolat, not Chocolate), but Sayori changed the English name herself because it's supposed to be pronounced with a silent 't' and it would've been confusing. TLDR, in English, Chocola. In Japanese, Chocolat.
@@Diapolo10 TY. For that as I did notice the name was different. Did not know it was that. Was thinking they shortened it down. as I have the Nekopara Figure that say Chocolate and game Chocola.
To go along with what Diapolo was saying, Nuts isn't really an abbreviation, so to speak, more like just a nickname that Azuki and, in some way or another, Cinnamon gives her. But going back to Azuki, if she's "abbreviating" Chocola's name, it's usually with Vanilla's name with it, calling the two ChocoVani.

Btw, I would've liked if you had mentioned the VN voice actors, too, because they're different. The VA cast was changed for the TV anime and mobile game, the old VAs still cast the VNs.

When I watched Nekopara all the way through I thought Chocola was a like a female version of Naruto (Part 2).
It's pretty much obvious that Chocola and Naruto have a bunch in common in my opinion and here are some reasons.
1. They both had tragic childhoods.
2. They're energetic and ambitious.
3. Both of they're voices are too high pitched for their ages.
4. When you look at Naruto's sexy jutsu, you'll see that he has a similar hairstyle as Chocola (except for his bangs).
5. They both have animal like features. If you watched Naruto, you are informed of Kurama (The Nine-tailed Fox) in which his chakra is combined with Naruto's and you obviously already know about Chocola's cat like features given that you have either watched Nekopara or have watch this video alone.
These aren't facts, this is just some stuff that thought about while watching the whole series of Nekopara.
