IIRC, that's supposedly a requirement from Lamborghini to maintain their license for this figure, since the original design thar the Toy was based on was just a concept that never made it into production.
The windscreen is designed to come off in case it gets caught in transformation. It's the same with Cordon MP-42. I have an original, but I'm thinking about getting a KO to flip back and forth. The original had spare wing mirrors on a sprue too.
Ahhh I love this design best out of the MP line. It corrects so much about the original yet retains the character of it. It's the Sunstreaker I would have really wanted to own when I got the original. I liked the look of the G1 but the poseability was a big let down. So tempted to get one and possibly the red one. They are upping their box game that's likely to fool most folks. I think I like it better when it's clear it's not genuine.
This is my favorite transformer toy. Robot and car are solid and feel great. The engine and taillight options in alt mode are well done. I find the transformation is satisfying.
I own the actual Masterpiece and the windshield has never slid off. However the hinges that hold the doors on have broken on mine because the plastic there is less than 1mm thick and brittle too. Do they seem sturdy on the KO?
His main gun feels so cheap and hollow but over all I feel like I hit the jackpot with mine as apart from thin paint on the shoulders the paint job is excellent as well as solid joints
MP or KO owner, the MP over priced version is awful. I would rather break my KO version or buy him twice. I have more money than purist and more originals and appreciate KOs more. The MP version is awful and has broken twice in transformation. Mirrors and doors are a nightmare with the overpriced MP. Come at me screwball collectors that ruin our fun, I have every Transformer and robotech toy from 1979 to current as I kept every toy I owned as a child or the late 70s and early 80s. I play with mine while you play with yourself. Mine dont collect dust. These new masterpiece toys are pure trash while the KO over sized versions have a great robot model and you can afford 3 for the price of so0me hasbro shit
Mp36 and this guy have been my 2 most wanted figures for some time now and i finally got hold of them in the last month but the ko versions and if the legit ones are better then them then WOW they must be unreal but i doubt they are
😂😂 just as a silly aside, my "official" MP-36 left arm ratchet broke, so I got a KO MP-36, and I have no complaints! 😂😂 As always with KO's though, your mileage may vary.
Sun streaker is sun streaker. It is not real or fake. It is licensed and unlicensed. I would not give money to Hasbro anymore. They trashed the hell out of all the good toy lines. The knock offs are a much easier price tag to swallow for those of us that still display and transform our transformers after 40 years. Hell I even dust off the old mospeda and give the robotech toys a bash now and then. I love this guy, few loose pieces just like the licensed MP.
So the symbol on his back plate in robot mode is an autobottom? I'll see myself out 😅
One of my favorite things about MP Sunstreaker is how you can fold away the big honkin' chrome air intakes so he just looks like a regular Countach.

I was on the fence over this MP KO.. thanks for the push. Ordered!

oh ok, that was one the first things that happened. So i thought something already broke...

You can keep his weapons in his legs. Its an awesome and detailed figure.

One of the last few mp i bought ko. A seriously nice figure.

They seem pretty sturdy to me. Interesting about the windshield.
I have the MP version of Sunstreaker. Even in my copy, the windshield would slide off. I finally broke it.🙊🙉🙈🤣🤣 I am going to glue back on.
For the Masterpiece Movie Bayverse series, are they still continuing to copy? or did they stop since Ironhide MP-6?

Ordered before the video. Looking forward to mine.
How was it?
@@siyoucefdz6883 could not tell it was a KO. Comparable to official and other High end 3P figures.
@@vietcong411 I heard that the chest piece ( the fake frond windshield of the car ) was a bit floppy and loose , is that real?
@@siyoucefdz6883 from what I remember it was not. Will check when I am back home tomorrow
@@vietcong411 ok thanks
The KO box is missing the desc under Sunstreaker name.

I have a real mp-39,
but when I play it, I dont thint its quality worth it.
I don't think Peter Parker, Jessica Drew, Julia Carpenter, or Miles Morales would appreciate Sunstreaker killing spiders Capt K.
