The RV can handle a crosswind very well, I've landed my RV6 in 20-G25 at 80 deg across the runway and i must admit I was very nervous, but it tracked right down the centerline :)
I couldn’t tell from the video… three point or wheel landing? Also… could I inquire as to your panel setup. I’ve just purchased an RV-8 myself, and am looking to upgrade the panel.
That one was a wheel landing. I have a Dynon Skyview HDX System which includes one comm radio and a two axis autopilot. I also have an Avidyne IFD-440 navigator/VHF radio which is my second comm and integrates with the Skyview to display flight plans and guidance information on the HSI. The Avidyne makes the aircraft IFR capable. I also have a Garmin G5 for a backup AI and a Garmin GMA-245 audio panel. Overall I'm very happy with the setup.
Looked kind of like a wheel landing with the right wheel touching down first to me w/tail wheel touching pretty quickly after the both mains were down,…just my guess from watching the vid :)
@VayuVids not exactly the same as my fantasy of moving an entire runway, but this will give you an idea what I'm talking about.ruclips.net/video/-1EJ6WJxj4c/видео.html

good crosswind correction and technique.
Well done!
Do you remember what the wind direction and speed were?

Why don't they just put runways on a turret so they can just turn the runway into the wind? Nice landing. Crosswinds are not preferred...lol
@VayuVids 1st off, it was a joke... But they do this and have been for decades for trains.
