I got this same gimbal head last week and it's a beast. I can't wait to get out and use it with my longer, heavier wildlife lenses. The construction feels very robust. I did get a long plate for it to help with better weight distribution for my Nikkor 400mm F4.
Update: the lens collar foot actually is arca Swiss on my sigma 150-600 L mount, I believe, it slides right into the gimbal mount and locks safely into place! Are there differences between different sigma 150-600s?
💥 I am liking everything about this for the price except for what you mentioned about the till up and down knob loosing up the tension so quickly. I use a similar 150-600 lens and have to deal with the balance point changing as I zoom in and out myself.
Under 200 this would be a good option for people like me who do not make a living with this thing but at $250 which is the amazon price now... umm not so much. I wonder how it compares to Movo GH800. That one is CF and still under 200 on Amazon right now.

Would this gimbal head work with the Manfrotto 190x tripod? I have this lens and I love it but it is heavy....

When I’ve been using this in the field it has not been a problem. I’ve been happy with it.
