We should keep holding fast to our confessions because it was not the prayers that the demons withstood. It was the answer! Let's keep confessing the answer from the Scriptures.
I'm glad old prayers and expectations are being discussed. Blessed oil is one that I'm wanting to know about. Grew up with it, but I've eatablished a very close and productive relationship in faith with God and He has not reinforced this idea of using blessed oil to "do" anything.
@@marleneholloway7775 This makes sense for what I was taught, and I'm looking into it more because I have been healed and prayed for my own kids to be healed and they were, all without oil. As I look into this, I see that the oil used in the Bible was actually medicinal oil used to put on people to sedate them and prepare them for spiritual experiences, it actually had a smell to it, asorbed into the skin which caused some parts of the body inside to react. It could be inhaled as well. Frankincense. This leads me to believe that oil of any kind alone would not give Bible times healing results, as it was specific back then, and went with the prayers of anointed leaders over the sick. It was also done or required under Mosaic law. Being that we are under Grace, and still other aspects of the Bible under Mosaic law times are still true and work for us, oil being necessary for healing is what I don't see for now. And with it not being necessary, a person can be healed by prayer and belief. I'm not trying to be hard on this, I'm truly excited that you made mention of were to look. I research a lot and love to find truth and ask others what have they found out or experienced. I also feel like people continue to say the oil heals because they haven't experienced heaing any other way or at all. I pray a miraculous healing for your son. He is healed. 🤍
