- Can we call this guy Lasbos? It has no official name and that's what it's called in the files.
Direct rip from the game's files of music from BLiNX: The Time Sweeper
0:00 Phase 1
2:34 Phase 2
5:09 Phase 3
5:57 Phase 4
6:44 Phase 5
7:29 Phase 6
8:14 Phase 7
When I heard 5:09 hit, shit got real. Constant dodging, taking hits, manic crystal collecting, increasing tempo with the boss on his last legs waiting for the opportune moment to break his armour for that last hit!
Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, is more satisfying than landing that last strike on that s.o.b after struggling to beat him after countless attempts over the years of playing the game for the first time!
Nothing, will ever beat the first time. Truly a memory to treasure.
I struggled like hell on the boss rush for years, and never even made it to this boss.
Today I beat the boss rush for the first time and beat the final boss first try.
How? I learned an insane trick: if you hit "restart level" on the pause menu, *it only restarts the current boss and not the entire boss rush* . That is an incredible trick. I don't think I could have ever done it without it.
This final boss theme is absolutely absurd, and I love it. The devs of this game made a 9 minute song with 11, freaking ELEVEN different phases, and each one ramps up the tension further and further until you finally gain the upper hand. For a cartoony platformer with only, like, 3 cutscenes total. A boss they couldn't even have been bothered to name.
And the song is awesome.
Christ.
@@deleteduser7728 It has 11 points. Also, the final boss does have a name, Time Devil.
@@Baconmutt Chronohorn is it's name actually.
@@Baconmutt where the fuck did you get time devil?
@@Hyperlink1337 A lot of the LPs I've seen of this game referred to the final boss as the Time Devil.
Woah, I didn’t expect this comment to be recent,
Some people call him Momentopolis
my heartbeat follows the ticking clock
I always called this boss "TimeKeeper", because, since each boss is just a giant version of one of the regular monsters, I thought it was a giant version of those Gatekeeper monsters you fight.
Chornohorn is a better name though. Or, Lasbos even. Lasbos is probably code word for "Last Boss" though, omitted the final letter of each word.
I know, 3 years later, but I think you were on to something. All bosses were just regular monsters, but juiced up with more detail and gimmicks.
Maybe "Chornohorn the Timekeeper," is a better title.
In the Blinx wikia this boss is called Time Devil. Im not gonna call it any other way (?)
We can call him Lasbos, yes.
Isn't "Lasbos" just an abbreviation for "last boss", though?
Yup, but eitherway it's his new name lol
or we can call it time golem or time machine
In wikipedia he's name is Time Devil
Epic theme
One of the best ever pieces of video game music and most people have not heard it
bop continues to be bop
Adaptive music is..great...
@Dr. Yay According to the few BLiNX fans that exist, the official strategy guide (Which has the official names of all Bosses) calls "Lasbos", "Chronohorn". Just telling you that. Oh, and did you finished BLiNX 2 ever since somebody suggested you play it a year ago?
I can confirm this, I have the strategy guide! You can also probably download it online.
Only just now got around to seeing this whoops ^^
I actually just got a new OG Xbox again so I'll probably be able to finally play it now, and looking through everything again I want to get back into this series in general, life's been way too busy for me lately so I've neglected it
i always question why Microsoft didn't remaster this game it flawed but at the same time it has some pretty decent concept style and ideas (not including the edgy sequel)
i didn't even know there was this many phases cause i was using the spike balls
Yeah when I see let's plays of this boss they don't use them, like why? It's such a no brainer.
Imagine if this drum beat was played in Whiplash instead of Caravan.
I would love to hear that!
They must have had a different name in an earlier build.
The final boss is officially known as 'Momentopolis' though in-game
Momentopolis is the name of the area, not the boss itself
I forced myself to listen to the whole song while holding in a massive sh!t.
Really intense!
