Awareness would imply that they would do something else without being shown what to do first, and that's probably not the case.

She looks so sweet when she’s coming up to them, gentle mother. Also the shot of the baby from inside is funny and adorable.
Honestly they're so damn smart. Alot of people don't know this, but they actively try to play around and have fun in the wild. There's been some found using little spillways as a slide, then climbing back up and sliding down a few more times lol. No other reason behind it other than it wanted to go slide.

That's amazing how the mother carefully scoop them up, Alligators/Crocodiles are know for attacking and being extremely hostile but then you see this and its really amazing how she's so patient with transporting them to the water and not leaving behind a single one
