Please never ever stop making these high quality in-depth Nintendo Switch modding tutorials. No other Switch-focused tutorials on RUclips are as clear and concise as yours. You don't even skimp on the all-important 'backup' part of the process and tell people to just "go watch that one video I made from 4 years ago" even though you've already demonstrated the same process time and time again in previous other tutorials. Which is tedious work but one that I fully respect and admire. So keep doing what you're doing man.
@@sthetixofficial Ok so I did your tutorial up to flashing Android, it loads the Lineage splash then goes black and returns to Hekate, I have a hwfly4.3 on OLED, does this mean my mod chip does not support Android?
I reached out to the mod chip installer and he said of the last 12 mods he installed 6 would allow him to install Android, and 6 would not, the only difference between them all was SD card type, he said its not Mod chip based but rather on SD card speed type, so I purchased the Sandisk Extreme Pro and tried it with no EmuMMC just hekate and android, but still when I get to the Flash Android it goes through great, I get the LineageOS splash image, but it goes black then restarts, mod chip kicks in and delivers its job then I am back to Hekate, any other ideas I can look at? @sthetixofficial
I was able to flash lineage os 21 using your tutorial. Joycons work on ui but not within a geforce now game. geforce now is reporting that no controller is detected. any thoughts?
@@sthetixofficial I did. I´ll definitely try this. How much higher is the performance (in games, emulation) on ANDROID 14 against ANDROID 11 if you would give a percentage as a benchmark ?
@@sthetixofficial Ok I´ll give it a try anyway. I did cut the Vbus, D+ and D- wires by the way and everything works just fine. Thanks for your replies. I truly appreciate your work. Your are the game console modding KING on the internet imo. Keep up the good work bro !
tnk you very much for this video. i was looking for a tutorial days ago and didnt belive it was possible on oled models. what are the vantage to use android ? dolphin or what ? does triforce also works ?
what do u mean? u need 29gb for the hos, we need to replace the emmc to a larger one and later it will be a hassle to backup the console nand. for me it is not worth at all.
@@sthetixofficial thanks for the reply, i followed everything in the video and the sd card i use is 512gb and it had 400gb free, its not a problem though im not looking at ever going back to stock fw so i should be okay i just carried on with the install and it works. Thankyou for help and keep making these videos :)

great tutorial, i'd just like to add that you can skip the whole emummc thing if you only want android and don't care about switch os.
if i try to install android and in case my switch not compatible with android installation, will my switch error? use hwfly on switch
it does not. you need to flash your hwfly to the hwfly-nx to support android
how do I upgrade if I currently have android 11 on a separate partition on emummc?
u cannot.. u need to wipe it
Is there a guide to flash Android to half of ghe SysNAND? That way it can run from fhe eMMC rather than the SD Card.
no. u must remove the emmc and replace it with a larger capacity one. it is a hassle and not worth at all
Does it work with picofly or is it instinct nx v6? Or both work?
I think it work for pico and instinct
tried on picofly and v1 console. works flawlessly.
Are there any differences between this version and Android 11 when it comes to performance ?
yes if u read the comments. it is a huge leap of updates. you can try it
@@sthetixofficial I did. I´ll definitely try this. How much higher is the performance (in games, emulation) on ANDROID 14 against ANDROID 11 if you would give a percentage as a benchmark ?
I havent tried it but I read the comments on x, it says the update is great

@MrCANER06 Thank you.
I don't see the GAPPS included in the pre-packaged zip file but, still great video.

Please use text guides everyone. Thank you
text guides dont work for those who cannot read and visualize
What is this good for? any suggesstions?
good for experience and experiments
An eMMC Boot Guide would be great
boot from the emmc? it is not worth as we should upgrade the emmc with a higher capacity
@@sthetixofficial32 GB for Android is more than enough. That leaves 26gb for the stock. The v1 has 29gb, right?

I already have Android 11, how can I upgrade to 14?
u need to wipe it all, cannot upgrade directly from 11
should i upgrade? im already on android 11
yes it has priviacy updates and apps can only send notifications if you allow it
First 😊
hi
hi there i followed the guide but as i got to the restore emmc i dont have rawnandbin.00 i only have rawnandbin.05+06
I think you did not backup the emummc properly. or your sdcard was full at that time
@@sthetixofficial thanks for the reply, i followed everything in the video and the sd card i use is 512gb and it had 400gb free, its not a problem though im not looking at ever going back to stock fw so i should be okay i just carried on with the install and it works.
