The cratered bunker shot was one I was hoping for. When the ball splashes away the sand directly around it in a fluffy bunker. I suppose the size of the crater dictates what sort of shot works best so it might not fit as neatly into this sort of format.
Technique for really plugged lies from GolfSidekick: Instead of an open face, close the face a lot, as though using it as a scoop, leading with the toe. Close your stance some, then swing hard, downward behind the ball and let the club die into the sand. Get wristy on most greenside bunkers.
@@RandomGolfClubFilms Even as a South African, who watched him as a junior (were he was stupid good) I didn't realise. Hopefully he is recognised for the skill he has. Could be an awesome brand ambassador for big companies looking for a solid name to back on tour, do company events etc. Highly engaging.
Come on this guy doesn't even know how to hit a ball out of Spanish tree moss without getting a penalty and ruining possibly the best par save ever.....how can i trust he knows anything?? (I kid, Dylan is the man)

Great ideas, definitely making note. We tried to get the playable water hazard shot but there weren't any great options at UTGC.

If I heard correctly, you can't face the ball like that with both feet facing the hole. I think he had to address it with his feet like a normal shot.

He said initial ball direction is set by path and aim face where you want to end up? Hasn’t this been debunked by the launch monitor data?
He is correct, slice is outside to inside swing path, draw the opposite inside to outside.
yep- face to path will set shape, face will set start direction.
@@jameslovering9158 it’s possible to hit a slice with an inside out swing path too if the face is open relative to that path
