He was probably the only actor who wasn’t actually the same age as his character, along with the actor who played Dylan. Mike Lobel was born in 1984, I believe. His first season is season three in 2003. He would have been 19 at that point. Still relatively young though for an actor playing a high school student
Honestly, though he had one of the best character archs on the show. He was interesting to watch, despite his punk moments. He’s one of the few characters who could have carried his own show. The actor who played him was actually pretty talented.
Honestly his punk moments were really great. Because bummer times, there's a party. Also drinking beer is good too and the oxycodone pills were good times man for real.
I don't know why but I always wished we saw Rick confront Jay with his gun, that would have been very interesting to see. I don't care how tough you are when someone is pointing a gun at you that's gonna scare you for real.
Well, you're not wrong. I mean..., seriously, who's the one that said Jimmy's name after seeing Rick? Jay. But Spinner is also at fault too for going along with it.
@@kenrickbautista6141Spinner himself mentioned Jay's name to Jimmy when he told him that both of them told Rick he was behind the paint. Jay didn't show up to school that next day
So I didn't watch some of the later seasons, but did he ever actually get better? Have actual redemption? Or do people just like him because he was mildly less douchey? 95% of the time he felt like a dick for the sake of being a dick, let alone what he caused with rick.
It’s funny, because Jay calls himself the devil. But the fact of the matter is, he actually is. He is the character that people go to when they have nowhere else to go, they end up, confused, and they make mistakes. Sure, he ends up, redeeming himself in the end, but ultimately, he is the one that leads every one of our favorite characters down their darkest paths. I’m sorry, but I would treat Manny way better than he ever could, no question. Cassie Steele, if you’re reading this, you could buss it on me any day.
Jay freaking stinks! How he never got his ass kicked after all he did was beyond me! His actor must have had connections or some blackmail on the writers or something.
Jay Hogart, the worlds oldest high school student 🤣he did get better though.
Dillon looked even OLDER...lol!!!
i thought that was dillon mckay lol

@8:35, Jay acting predatory towards Emma will never not be creepy as heck. 💀
😂😂😂💀💀
Yk what really sucks for me I was watching this episode informer of my mom
💀💀💀
Didn't she suck him multiple times tho?
Im glad Jay Hogart changed later on the seasons…
He knew he would've lost that fight with the first guy that's why he was like chh whatever
6:05 damn that security guard clotheslines sean so hard
12:22 Okay Jay was actually being good here. We all know how annoying the Lakehurst guys could be
The only guys I wanted Jay to fight and win against. I always wished he would have joined forces with Spinner to fight those guys.
The only time Jay won a fight was against Rick but Rick is like 5'6 160 Pounds while Jay is like 5'11 185

He got better in time
He was always smart, just started using his powers for good
Jimmy and them should of been more madder at Jay than at Spinner for the school shooting
Well, you're not wrong. I mean..., seriously, who's the one that said Jimmy's name after seeing Rick? Jay. But Spinner is also at fault too for going along with it.
I mean they weren’t friends with him though so it wasn’t really a betrayal
@@angelofthe2000sJimmy later became cool with Jay by season 7

“should of been more madder” STAY IN SCHOOL
I wish Jay had more scenes
“Oooo not a ticket!!”😂😂🤣
The Damon Salvatore of Degrassi
Jay Hogart really brought out the bad side in almost every character
My favorite part. Him trying to steal the bike and its spinners😂
Love Jay ❤
The Ralph Cifaretto of Degrassi
I LOVE THE SOPRANOS
Imagine there was a Sean x Jay x Jimmy x Spinner quarter 😮

Yeah in season 7 he gets with Manny and he treats her really well, and then from then on he’s a pretty good guy
Cannot for the life of me remember a scene where Jay wasn't a complete and utter piece of garbage lol. Dude had some funny fucking lines though
It was nice of him when he got Manny into acting school
9:41 sorry to all the Craig fans but jay slayed him it just had to be said
I would be kicking Craig’s ass if I were Jay
@@shanebracken8358honestly i feel like craig could beat tf outta jay, he did beat spinner in one episode, and hate to admit but he did beat up joey
I think Jay more evil than Spinnner since he spinner use to be a bully and became mature in season 4 but Jay he still is a bully
Honestly uk those Lakehurst kids where bad if jay kicked them out
CHOCOLATE 🍫 bars
I noticed Jay was hardly ostracized by Degrassi students unlike Spinner even though they were both responsible for putting Jimmy in a wheelchair.
JAY hogart 👱🏻♂️
don't let mind control attack that is just toxic...love you guys..i would love to visit there. rachel e.

I always wanted to "take care" of Jay myself. Worst character in the show 🔫
He was actually one of the best. Had one of the best character developments
Nope, that title still belongs to Ashley.
@@brett8460yea she was annoying
Nah drake and johnny take that title both were the reason One of the best characters died
Imagine if Jay and Ashley were together. What would you think would happen?
Jay sound kinda like Joey
Joey Swoll?
@@kenrickbautista6141no. Joey as in Joey Jeremiah
