Ridiculously good song, immaculate album. I'd buy the deluxe version if that shit existed. Honestly one of the best bands out, so fucking unique it's insane. Please do more playthroughs, guitars, drums, bass, sax idc.
There is no early or present or late periphery they rule on their own. My personal favorite. Ever Forthright is tearin it up their way and it's damn good gentlemen!
really loved the sax near the end. i think it can be tough to make it fit with a heavier genre of music, but you guys managed to make it sound very "together", and concise without it weedling on for too long.
This stuff amazes me more and more with each time I listen to it. An amazing blend of superb complex metal riffing and beautiful harmonies that make me drift away... Saying "it's incredible" merely scratches the surface :)
Hats off to you boys.. Very talented and well written songs.. wow.. have you guys heard Native Construct.. Throw in Between the Buried and me and its a party.. thanks for posting..
6:52 reminds me of something off of Kurt's record "Deep Song" Amazing album, you guys crush! It was nice meeting and playing w you on this past Sunday!
Yea for the most part, and i only alternate pick the last couple beats of the solo. after a little "A, B"ing we liked this way the best. We actually always improvise the solos in this song, which makes it a lot more fun for us.
Well I don't know if either of you know that the singer is actually Periphery's former vocalist "Chris Barretto" so that is where the similarity comes from in the vocals. But this shouldn't dim Ever Forthrights greatness because they are fucking amazing and will go far!
Hey guys I'm a huge fan. I just posted a cover of one of the solos off of The Little Albert Experiment if you have any down time on tour to check it out. Also I can't wait for the new Cd Riot sounds fucking amazing
I'd completely agree, I like both vocalists, and Spencer definitely fits Periphery's style better, much like Chris fits Ever Forthright very well, as well as that it's clear that both vocalists have progressed in skill a lot, Chris' range especially. In short, they are both in the right band for them.
(woops. hit Post by accident) ... for live performances. This video is just a re-record of the song off our debut, so everything is almost identical. Hope that helps :)
Chris was the 3rd vocalist, Jake Veredika (Tull) and Casey Sabol came before him. But yeah, he doesn't sounds like Spencer in any way really, I guess people could draw a comparison between the first Periphery album and this one, since many of the vocal melodies where done while Chris was in the band, so Spencer was emulating Chris to some degree, but since Periphery II, it's a moot point.
i heard this a lot before getting a schecter, but it turns out that the neck wasn't big at all. i was playing an Aglie before this, which truly has a huge, uncomfortable neck.
I can see some, but not so much that when I hear it I think Between The Buried and Me. BTBAM has a more classic rock sort of sound on their clean sections, as these guy rely more on Jazz changes for that sort of transition.
I personally hope that isn't the case, since I really think he's in the right place with EF, HAARP are definitely good, I'm not saying anything against them, I just feel Chris is where he needs to be. If he was a studio vocalist for HAARP, that would be great, but I wouldn't want him to quit EF for it.
Yeah, I'm just trying to get my technique down before I do any more theory, 5 years and I'm still trying to find the best position for picking in my desired style.
Well, depending on what happens, Chris may not even be in Ever Forthright anymore and may be moving onto joining The HAARP Machine now that THM is just good ol' Al-Mumin.
They share similar influences I suppose. Though to me Ever Forthright don´t sound like other bands to me. Initially perhaps a little but not now. Though give them time. They´ve only released 1 album (a big fat one at that); give them another album or 2 to further develop their sounds and I guarantee they´ll become even more distinct with time.
Schecter Damien 8? The sax put it right over the top. Wow. Very unique, yet familiar. Rock a little more, or jazz a little more would be best for my listening. Very Badass though. Blown away! Thumbs up.
Not every djent band. I mean, yes, there are lot of these bands that sound the same, but I wouldn't say this is Ever Forthright case, I mean, this song doesn't even classify as a djent song, it's mostly an extreme progressive metal song with some elements of metalcore here and there.
Those vocals and choirs at the end are absolutely brilliant.
Ridiculously good song, immaculate album. I'd buy the deluxe version if that shit existed. Honestly one of the best bands out, so fucking unique it's insane.
Please do more playthroughs, guitars, drums, bass, sax idc.
we're somewhat working on that. re-recorded, new things, extended songs, unreleased songs. let's just hope it comes out ;)
Ever Forthright Excited as fuck. Ya'll got any vinyls laying around? 9002/100 would buy.
Been rocking this good shit since the demos.
+Ever Forthright news porchiddio?
Nicholas and the Satan , i can feel the evil in his play , that tune dude...
@@EverForthright nothing ever came out 😭
the production on these new playthoughs is better than on the album.
There is no early or present or late periphery they rule on their own. My personal favorite. Ever Forthright is tearin it up their way and it's damn good gentlemen!
djentlemen
@Cory Wolfe soooo glad someone saw that!
I fucking love this band.
I watch this video probably every day.
really loved the sax near the end. i think it can be tough to make it fit with a heavier genre of music, but you guys managed to make it sound very "together", and concise without it weedling on for too long.
Just discovered these dudes like an hour ago... I love it!
Man that Saximaphone solo at the end is fantastic.
This stuff amazes me more and more with each time I listen to it. An amazing blend of superb complex metal riffing and beautiful harmonies that make me drift away... Saying "it's incredible" merely scratches the surface :)
I love that fusion seems to make a comback in the most unexpected ways :)
Your videos have that element of being awesome musically and being entertaining in other ways at the same time.
this song is absolutely insane
Hats off to you boys.. Very talented and well written songs.. wow.. have you guys heard Native Construct.. Throw in Between the Buried and me and its a party.. thanks for posting..
man i gotta listen to this album again. really exciting guitar work
Very cool. You guys just gained a fan.

That Schecter is beautiful. Inlays are sick too.
Well I don't know if either of you know that the singer is actually Periphery's former vocalist "Chris Barretto" so that is where the similarity comes from in the vocals. But this shouldn't dim Ever Forthrights greatness because they are fucking amazing and will go far!
This one sounds so much better than the one on the album.
Now I really like this song!
Lovely chords

BTW, you should come to Pittsburgh one day. Sweet Celestia that would be one hell of a show!! Keep it up guys!!
Wow guys this is blowing my mind! Amazingly put together. Where have you been? Please keep it coming and visit San Diego! Perfect
I'd completely agree, I like both vocalists, and Spencer definitely fits Periphery's style better, much like Chris fits Ever Forthright very well, as well as that it's clear that both vocalists have progressed in skill a lot, Chris' range especially.
In short, they are both in the right band for them.
Holy intros, Batman!
That's the craziest shit I've ever seen and heard . why don't they get more attention??
mindblowing song!
A Techincal Death Metal song with a Sax Solo??? FUCKING AMAZING!
@4:52 till the end of the song.... Just awesomeness
This is fucking sick! Why have I never heard of these guys before?
Did anybody else notice how hard that Robot was eye balling that Fifty Shades of Grey book?
(woops. hit Post by accident) ... for live performances. This video is just a re-record of the song off our debut, so everything is almost identical. Hope that helps :)

such a sick song !
Excellent work! Good song.

r.i.p. hamtaro
i loved the ending

This fuckin' guy, someone get this guy a beer.
He played on the new Tesseract record too! It's brilliant stuff.
Wow. This is very impressive
you are right.
Seriously fucking good stuff guys!
So that's why Misha's extensive search for a new singer ended with Spencer.
So Sick.
cool stuff. Nice intervals shirt btw!
thats a sweetthat red guitar is fking awesome what model of shecter is it?
Yeah, I'm just trying to get my technique down before I do any more theory, 5 years and I'm still trying to find the best position for picking in my desired style.
great stuff! Was shot with camera?
I love your sense for humor :)
Jontron on guitar
You may have answered your own question...it took Meshuggah a fucking long time hopefully this band can endure until they get more popular.
wow! that's awesome
Well, depending on what happens, Chris may not even be in Ever Forthright anymore and may be moving onto joining The HAARP Machine now that THM is just good ol' Al-Mumin.
Gonna have to buy every shirt! Twice! A large for now and an XL once I get a beer belly from all that Bud.
damn your guitars are polished and shiny, dont tell me they always look like this ;)
love it...
Are you guys working on a new album?
Fuck yeah! Operant Conditioning.
Does that iBanez have Gray Chameleon paint?
It’s
i agree

They share similar influences I suppose. Though to me Ever Forthright don´t sound like other bands to me. Initially perhaps a little but not now. Though give them time. i have its like playing a cricket bat lol but it was at a shop and only for like 5 mins it was a signature esp
Chris goes heavy

Nice Intervals shirt. I totally designed that.
Standard 8. Gb, B, E, A, D, G, B, E
All depends on what he decides.. so far it's in the grey.
yeah, I have an Agile 8, but I just dont enjoy playing it nearly as much as my ibanez 7
Schecter Damien 8? The sax put it right over the top. Wow. Very unique, yet familiar. Rock a little more, or jazz a little more would be best for my listening. Very Badass though. Blown away! Thumbs up.
sat, right on the bleedin balls. hahaha
What happened to the video for “All Eyes on the Earth/ Ask a Kitty”?!?!?!?!
It existed, I know I’ve watched it on repeat before and now it’s gone 😢
its just hidden for now
sadly the gray cat passed away in dec 2021 :(
Every time I start my car. This song. Instaplay.
Tell me something, who was Periphery's first vocalist?
Alister Tate Anderson jake veredkia
I would totally purchase a v2.0 EF album.
Hey...this is pretty good
God I want tabs for this and Screen Scenarios because I'm musically illiterate ;c
this shit is amazing!
I love that Chris joined EF, so more jazzy than Periphery (I like them too, though)
Why do I see you post on every single video I've watched in the past week?
Meshuggah meets Between the Buried and Me meets Periphery.
Sick !!! And perfect :D !!!
Nice CO2 Mobile. Takes me straight back to Jr. High Tech Ed class.
It sounds a bit like if Meshuggah and Blotted Science had a glorious child
them riffs
that fretboard!
Chris Baretto (the vocalist of this band) was the original vocalist for Periphery. and no, his vocals sound nothing like Spencer's.
Best part of this video is the robot balls.
3:38 - 4:32 you went full Tosin Abasi sounded awesome
Not every djent band.

Reminds me a lot of the newest Gorod album
Does anyone know what plugin they used for the tones? I can't recognize it.
I'm pretty sure it's just their Axe FX-II/FX-I but I don't know for sure
very inspirational music. what tuning for this song?
