Holy shit this is so damn amazing. Almost everything covered in a metal version seems to be really good nowadays but its interesting how many old games had nice themes and tuning them up like you did is fantastic.

Heh. You know, that post made notice a reference I'd never actually realised before; Zero and X's names probably come from the Japanese symbols for right and wrong, respectively.
It's not always the company (which I won't have the indecency to even type down) that 'revives' the game though. Sometimes it's the fans themselves that step in and make their own stuff, such as fan projects like Corruption, Isolation, Maverick's Fury, etc... And make the franchise get back up. Look at what happened with Metroid and am2r, it was taken down, yes, but it practically unburied the franchise before it even died, of course samus returns came out months later, but it really gave the fanbase a light of hope and the will to not leave the community, it's the effort that counts.
