@@JacksonLane02 that’s what annoys me. They act like AEW is perfect and been so since day 1. At this point, y'all should just let AEW be. It's WrestleMania weekend ffs. Fans should focus on that instead. NDAs have a time limit. They also don't tend to hold up well in court. Don't be surprised if it's out sooner than later.
The best thing Tony could have done was (ironically) ignore it in the public light and truly evaluate the companies inner workings behind the scenes. Sending Edge out there for PR only made them look more desperate to change the narrative, rather they should actually look to fixing their perception naturally.
This is ironic, brooks talked to ariel about tk and aew, also even the evil dark cloud over wwe vkm. The irony about this, mr. brooks just validated (unintentionally) vkm why he never took aew seriously as competition. Brooks just said so with ariel they don't care about business and that's why wwe evil (vkm) didn't care about them either.
No one is saying that WWE as a whole supports S.A. because of Vince's actions. The same applies for AEW. TK gets his feelings hurt a little too easily and everyone's kinda discovered that it's an easy exploit. Just don't make the mistake of lumping all of AEW into Kahn's touchiness or immaturity. That's not fair. He's the company's finance... Therefore the bossman and owner if he chooses to be in whatever capacity he wants. Without the money he likely wouldn't be allowed anywhere near wrestling. The talent all know this. TK is pretty typical for his kind of peoples in "high places". They' cry out in pain... as they strike you. They'll pull the trigger but can't handle the recoil. They like to throw punches but can't take a hit. Etc. This isn't very representative of the majority of AEW's roster. They can do or say nothing about it. It's only fair to keep apart TK and AEW as a whole when referring to disputes like this. Do Americans stand behind all of our government's decisions? No. Do we agree with how our taxes are distributed and used? Absolutely not. Do Americans deserve to be vilified if our tyrannical leaders decide to flatten a city overseas? Again, No. I get the aspect of him representing his company. But that's assuming that those under his employment share his same ideology... which is just asinine. By all means, keep reporting and sharing your opinions. But maybe try keeping the assumed representative implications to a minimum. Just a suggestion.
And you see that’s the big difference between AEW and WWE when AEW talks about WWE doesn’t acknowledge it. WWE is in a class by itself 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂AEW care about wwe way too much WWE would never acknowledge AEW because it’s just childish they can barely hit 800,000 viewers a night fix those viewers then you could talk about wwe
Adam can try to save the company, but we all know what's wrong with AEW and Tony Khan is the epicenter of the problems. Going after WWE when AEW needs to build their own stories is what they need to be doing, especially since they can't go beyond 900k anymore and they barely sell tickets for non-PPVs
The best way to react to CM Punks comments, is to not react at all. But TK can’t resist and has made himself and his company look silly. Edge hasn’t helped himself here either. CM Punk knew what he was doing during that interveiw and it worked. He triggered them 😂
I don't know if Edge said it for himself or Tony Khan wanted him to do it. This was Punk's experience with AEW. Everyone's experience is gonna be different with the company. If people said positive things about AEW, great. If there are negatives, either take the criticism or just move forward from there. As pro wrestling fans, we want AEW to be successful. For them to be petty, possibly on the rocks with a new TV deal, and not consistently filling up seats, it's hard to say if what they're doing currently is a viable business.
Nah the problem is the Edge we loved watching from back in the day was the heel ultimate opportunist edge who stole championships from people like cena, not the babyface edge he's been ever since he returned.
In my honest opinion, Punk said nothing so bad that could ruin AEW he didn't even say something horrible about Tony or the promotion itself. The best comeback from AEW would have been a banger show.
The real problem is that AEW is basing too much of their business on the bad decisions they've made regarding Punk. It's the whole reason for the current Young Bucks gimmick, it's the reason Jack Perry is effectively in limbo, and now it's the source of promos for a guy they let go that only puts more spotlight on him. Tony Khan may indeed be a nice Guy as Punk mentions, but he's an idiot that doesn't know what he's doing, full stop. This doesn't help their business, it only makes them look petty.
Its good that a Company guy like Edge whos been at AEW from the start and objectively understands its strength and flaws, has the companies back like that. Wait a Minute?
Getting a guy to respond to a podcast interview on your behalf on national tv is crazy. Funniest thing is the interview was probably seen by more people.
I just really hope Punk's interview and other things like that help AEW wake up - as it still has such potential. I hope they do become a proper business, whilst maintaining their individuality. Wrestling needs 2 big companies minimum. I still often wish WCW had just seeked to coexist with WWE
The difference between WWE and aew right now is WWE is doing so many good moves and is so far ahead right now they can easily afford for Punk to go off and say what he wants with zero chances of it backfiring. AEW is not in that same position. They NEED to show they can be mature, take criticism, and have the smarts to move on and improve. Not lash out, and point fingers. WWE can do that because they are doing major psychotic business right now and even the Vince scandal didn't even slow them down. THAT is power. AEW however has endless drama being broadcast, and ex WWE guys are holding up most of their business ATM while their best talents like Darby Allin and MJF aren't exactly enjoying themselves over there right now. Edge is nice and all...but come on AEW. Use the glorious stars you have right now.
But what about when Ariel asked Cody the next day in the interview and asked him about AEW? He asked Cody about Punks comments toward AEW? No video about that from you? No mention in this video about it?
I really wanted to love AEW, recent years the company has been on a weird ride I ever seen. Why wasted time talking about a man who is no longer part of your company because CM Punk said something you don’t like? If AEW is where the best wrestle then stop being All Elite Yapping.
Don't really see how it's embarrassing, all Adam did was talk about how he likes working for AEW and speaking of it's positives. He literally could have sank to Punk's level by insulting Vince McMahon and Triple H during his promo, but he didn't.
0:31 was jus finna say the fact that they are addressing anything that Punk said is just stupid. The point is, the company’s handle of Punk’s career was poor. Tony needs to man the fuck up and own up to it.

Jack Perry isn’t some top guy. The fact he’s called a pillar of AEW is laughable (MJF in my opinion is the only one of the 4 to be called that. Sorry Darby Allin).
The fans still blaming Punk are probably AEW mega fans who see Tony Khan as this unstoppable God and Jesus himself who will save wrestling along with hating WWE to the point to where they act like WWE killed their own puppy and had them watch as the puppy slowly but painfully died
@@JacksonLane02 that’s what annoys me. They act like AEW is perfect and been so since day 1. One RUclipsr I use to follow jumped on the AEW bandwagon so hard that any negative press on AEW he was quick to defend but if it was WWE he quickly added on. He became so irritated with how stale Vince made WWE he became a blind simp to AEW.
@@JacksonLane02 if AEW ain’t careful they may just lose their tv deal because of Tony. I know WBD is happy with the numbers (I don’t know why. Maybe because it’s pretty much the only thing in cable on Wednesday nights besides live sports like NHL & NBA). WBD just may decide to put all AEW shows on Max.
WCW 2001 >>> Aew
@@rickgrimezz7486 I agree. Even during those last 3 years and all of 2000 they still drew better viewers than AEW and attendance too at times.
Tony Khan needs to learn how to ignore what people have to say and focus on running his show
At this point, y'all should just let AEW be. It's WrestleMania weekend ffs. Fans should focus on that instead.
I'm a diehard WWE guy but I've noticed AEW has been getting an unnecessary ton of hate of late which is totally unfair. They had a bad PR over the weekend from one of their former highest draw even though it happened on a RUclips channel, millions have already seen it. And who better to leave the fans with a positive feel and counter the negativity than a literal WWE Hall of Famer, Edge. He did that, explained why competition has made WWE “better” (which in all fairness it has) so let's just move on. Hopefully AEW learns from the criticism and puts on a more compelling product like they used to.
C.M. Punk sure made AEW look bad. LOL
Edge probably wanted that time. Pilana pretending like he's behind the scenes. He needs AEW to get hits with his bias videos. Embarrassing

Tony Khan: I feel threatened....
The Rock: It doesn't matter if he threatened your ass
No wonder why triple h once called AEW a Tshirt company. Everytime someone like punk from another company does or say something Tony just couldn’t help himself😂😅
This interview had to happen. This is the first time cm punk even talked about it, and he hasnt really even talked about the media scrum that happened. Everyone else has talked about this more than punk has.
Aew prove that cm punk is right
Hey Edge, I have prayed for this
This is ironic, brooks talked to ariel about tk and aew, also even the evil dark cloud over wwe vkm. The irony about this, mr. brooks just validated (unintentionally) vkm why he never took aew seriously as competition. Brooks just said so with ariel they don't care about business and that's why wwe evil (vkm) didn't care about them either.
Just say Vince.
Facts they don’t really have storylines. Literally need stories to drive the matches
2021 Cm punk in AEW attacks WWE, edge defends WWE, 3yrs later Cm punk in WWE attack AEW, Edge defends AEW. IRONIC😂😂.
Man love your content, you're the wrestling youtuber I tend to agree with the most
Tony Klown
And you see that’s the big difference between AEW and WWE when AEW talks about WWE doesn’t acknowledge it. WWE is in a class by itself 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂AEW care about wwe way too much WWE would never acknowledge AEW because it’s just childish they can barely hit 800,000 viewers a night fix those viewers then you could talk about wwe
wwe have done the same and addressed something aew said about them in the ring.
They have referenced stuff that was said on aew but they never did a full damage control promo
When Edge returned, it was pure nostalgia, but when he became regular I realised what Lita was to edge, he made him famous.
Nah the problem is the Edge we loved watching from back in the day was the heel ultimate opportunist edge who stole championships from people like cena, not the babyface edge he's been ever since he returned.
@@listless6840 he's poor as a baby face, but he still had looks, then he cut his hair, now he doesn't even have that
Here's an apt comparison, AEW is mega blocks compared to WWEs Lego.
Good Comparison Legos will always be better than immature Mega Childish Blocks. 💯🔥
My left nut >>>>> Aew
Expect a lawsuit from aew on cm Punk
I actually think Aew has potential, its just that Tony Khan is a joke of a boss
CM Punk should talk his trash, AEW did him dirty and couldn't find a better solution to work with him.
😢aew is really emberassment
But what about when Ariel asked Cody the next day in the interview and asked him about AEW? He asked Cody about Punks comments toward AEW? No video about that from you? No mention in this video about it?
Everything Cm punk says is Gospel. Wow he could say he went to the moon and marks would believe him
I really wanted to love AEW, recent years the company has been on a weird ride I ever seen.
My cousin getting married 💍
What I don’t understand is why tony as the boss is going to punk to settle a issue he should have settled
0:31 was jus finna say the fact that they are addressing anything that Punk said is just stupid. The point is, the company’s handle of Punk’s career was poor. Tony needs to man the fuck up and own up to it.
Tony Khan turned Edge into Adam COPEland since Tony doesn't know how to do what's best for business-uh
