I am about to turn 69 and 8 months ago I started making tumblers I joke with my hubby..."I found a new love" as I love to design tumblers I have 14 grandchildren lots to make for😉and 5 great grandchildren a set of 10 year old twin girls. They will be 11 Dec14th they asked me to design a Chicken cup lol and the girls raise Quails so the oldest twin by 7 mins says hey Nanny I need a Quail on my cup. Just wait til they see this video Next request will be dried flowers Thank you so much. Love to you both. Cheers
This is awesome! I have my garden out back! I’m so excited. I want to do my Salmon color Zinnias! Reminds me of my Grandma, who made flower pressed cards. I miss her.
That plant looks like a Senecio cineraria "Dusty Miller". I typically plant those outside in the Spring, but I didn't this year. Another craft with flowers is using silica gel to dry the flowers (they're not flattened, just dried and put in shadow boxes). Garden Answer just did a video on this today (seems like everyone I watch is doing something with flowers hehe). I love it when your mom is in the videos!!
Thank you for this super tutorial Holli. Question if the flowers or stems come out I have the microwave too thick or raised would that mean they should not be used on the cup? Or is there a way to compress them further for usage? Thanx again!! ❤️
Why do you add white to the epoxy when you have a white background? Wouldn't the flowers show up better with clear epoxy?? Ok, I wasn't to the end yet. Thanks, this was cool!
Mama Dale is so sweet !! I love this tutorial. Molli and Mama Dale are a wonderful team. It is always great to see them . Dubraska
We love you!!!!

Hi
What is the drying time for the flowers I’m the microwave. Do remember you dry them twice. Thank you
How long do you put them in the microwave? I’ve watched a few times and read every comment and can’t find it anywhere. What did I miss? Lol

Hello. I loved this idea. Need to try it ❤️ quick question the colorant armor art is that applied to every epoxy layer or just the first? Thank you
Do you guys have a tutorial or info on how many ml per layer of epoxy? I’m struggling to keep my cups thin and not too fat 😕
Thank you for this super tutorial Holli. Question if the flowers or stems come out I have the microwave too thick or raised would that mean they should not be used on the cup? Or is there a way to compress them further for usage? Thanx again!! ❤️
I would cut them in half with a sharp blade!
How long do the flowers take in the microwave to dry?
You make it look so easy 😂
Is there an update video coming up for this to see how the flowers are holding up has any color faded, molded ect. ? Thanks
They are just as the day we made them. :)
@@HolliMostella thank you!
Can you use your heat press without the heat? The pressured heat press?
Oh good thought! We’ve never tried that! 30 seconds in the microwave works great so far, but that’s a good question!❤️❤️
How do you get the bottom smooth like that?

Do you put the Pyrex in the microwave to?
How many mins in the microwave?
Is the unknown leaf a dusty miller?
