Is it so difficult to find tyre inflators in the USA and Canada? In Greece there's one free of charge at every gas station. If your tyre deflates slowly, surely it's not an emergency and you can go to the gas station. If you have an emergency, one of these devices won't take you a mile further.
Actually no. In the USA we have to pay for tire air and while MOST gas stations have them, some do not. They also only take quarters (at least the ones I’ve come across) which makes them even more inconvenient. Also, as someone that lives 15 minutes away from the nearest store/gas station, my tire inflator has been a great investment and I’ve had it in the back of my car for several years now
Yeah I had to learn the hard way too, in Portugal they are all free, while in the UK they charge you and in my case, I paid and it was broken and just deflated my tire completely in the middle of the night, it wasn't fun.
Here in Arizona its impossible to find a gas station that has air pump fill valves not cutoff at every gas station.. homeless people take them to use for pipes all over.. its insane. You have to have an air pump in your car or good luck inflating your tire..
