- Fallout: New Vegas has an absolute badonkadonk of weapons. Just last week we took a look at the Police Pistol from Dead Money, but this time around we are going to the much less serious and much more quirky add-on known as Old World Blues.
One of the first unique weapons you get from this DLC is the K9000 Cyberdog Gun. A massive minigun like frame with canine features and sound effects almost as cute as a femboy’s moans, this weapon is definitely more unique than most of the weapons you find in the Mojave.
With all that being said, strap in or on depending on your current company and let’s see if you can beat Fallout: New Vegas Only Using the Cyberdog Gun.

Keep up the good work, Owl! This weapon is one that I like but don't get much from. It's funny and has a neat concept, but big guns aren't great in NV and it's not the best one. How about doing "throwing weapons only"? That gives you some wiggle room to make use of more weapons while also letting you jump into the DLCs for extra stuff if you're inclined.
I'll definitely think about it! I know it's been done before (after all what hasn't), but I'd love to give my twist on it.

Ok I must add, you were very clever to give yourself one less strength than needed to wield the cyber dog gun. Because in OWB you receive a spine implant that gives you +1 to strength.
I thought this was going to be a Fallout challenge video but actually it was 16 condensed minutes of Disaster Bi.

You could grab the 1000 rounds of .357 Magnum on the locker of Sierra Madre Casino Vault, where you can grab a lot of armor and guns. That could have gotten you a good quantity of ammo to start. Although, we know Dead Money is not your favorite dlc 😅
If you were a new vegas character, your speech skill was going to be 100 and have the confirmed bachellor and lady killer perks as traits. Not going to explain why

I think the reason why Heck Gunderson doesn't react to his son is because you didn't completely stop Mortimer. There is another part to the quest (going against Mortimer) where you hide behind the dining hall counter while Mortimer gives a speech. After a certain point in the speech, you can tslk to Mortimer, and reveal that his plan failed to the entire party. Then they chase him away.
After that, you *then* go the Gunderson.
This is just based off my own playthroughs and observations over your video.
OWB is the shit, i went into the DLC at level 1 and i came out of the DLC complete, save for the Legendary Bloatfly kill. i owe the ease of my success to the first Lobotomite i encountered, he had a Saturnite Fist in near mint condition.

I would dare say the K-9000 outdoes the Minigun with ideal strength and 100 in the Guns skill. Sure, it gets overshadowed somewhat by the SMMG from Lonesome Road, but both of them are peak machine guns and I love both.
I think if I was able to use other weapons and had a surplus of ammo, Fido really could've been something amazing for me. Playing on harder difficulties definitely takes the fun out of some weapons for me though!
@@directionalowl Yeah that definitely makes sense. I always play on normal standard mode so I'm constantly using the MGs to mow down hordes like it's Payday 2.
@@directionalowl thats why hard is the perfect difficulty imho, enemies hit hard but also arent bullet sponges. So all weapons are still fun to use, but still challenging!

That little story was a good one, I had a friend like that some time ago and honestly one day aspire to do that for someone.
To the topic; I always sell that gun the moment I’m able to and pick up a melee weapon from here. There’s plenty to choose from. Maybe another run with the axes? I tried that recently and it was not very fun.

It'll be a while either way, but I'll definitely consider it! A melee build would probably make Old World Blues enjoyable for a change.

Ok the answer to this question is yes. However you should get your hands on as many .357 and .44 rounds as possible for this is what the gun uses for ammo. Before you criticize this weapon consider that police officers were using revolvers for their service weapons for a while in the past. So it sort of makes sense.

Cannot believe you used this weapon for a full playthorugh (hyperobolically of course, you definitely did this) considering how garbage the late game weapons like the cyberdog gun and the smmg are if you don't just have 30 levels of unused 10 mil and 357 sitting around to burn. I feel like the minigun weapons have to be some of the hardest weapons in the game to use since they aren't even ammo efficient like the starting weapons can be. Its the polar opposite of playing with early game powerhouses like the 10 mil pistol or the cowboy repeater..
