Peter, great video!! straightforward and helpful. I have question, in a multi-tenant environment all with different attributes, how can Compliance Manager be set up to look at those individually? Having individual instances of CM for that purpose doesn't make sense. Thank you!

It’s a good question and I don’t have an obvious immediate answer. It’s something I’ll check into though. May make a good video topic.

Great video, in some old videos I have seen that you are able to create your own Assessment templates, for example a organization needs to follow a regulation that are not available from the template selection. In the old videos I can see a tab/button named Assessment Templates, however this is no longer available? How can we add custom assessments based on regulations that are not available from the selection?

Yes it certainly looks like the assessment templates section has been taken away in favour of the regulations tab.. Very little to no options here other than the built in templates.

Great video. I would like to ask, so to perform this assessment on an on-prem data source lets say ms sql server would one have to connect the server on the purview portal after its being deployed or I can connect the data source at the compliance manager with the data connectors listed there?

As far as I am aware, you cannot do this with on-premises sources. This documentation shows what you can do, which looks to be limited to multi-cloud - learn.microsoft.com/en-gb/purview/compliance-manager-assessments#create-an-assessment-using-a-guided-process

Peter, that is a great video. I have a question for the compliance manager, Is there any way to invoke assessment via API? I have a requirement to execute any specific assessment and show the report.
I am looking someway to do with the API either Postman or somehow with PowerShell

I’ve certainly not come across this capability and I can’t find anything in MS documentation to suggest it is possible.

It's useful information on compliance purview policy videos.
I would like to ask, if there is any video available for learning the data deletion for PII and PCi data in an organisation.

Hi, thanks. I've done some videos on retention if that is what you mean.

Yeah, I have gone through. It talks about retention. My idea is to remove many datas completely without any backup

I have few policies that need to be added in assessment. Unfortunately I couldn't find it. I am looking for your opinion at this point..
