She was waiting for me to tell her let's take it home. I didn't. She gave up her stubbornness for the first time in her life and told me "take it!!!" I happily did. And then 1 month later, we found another one, abandoned in a fish market. Took that home too. Now we have 2 puppies. One boy, one girl. Before the girl puppy came, i was the only girl child. Now I'm literally a stranger. She's my mom's favourite child. I was already a middle child and the only girl child. Now I no longer exist in my mom's book

It's so hard to control him. He listened only to me. He's big too, so people get scared seeing him. But Daku is tiny (not too tiny) and adorable. And she loves to be carried like a newborn baby. So yea.....
True my Mom has almost 6 cats now . 2 females 1 male and 3 babies. The other one is pregnant so after 1 week it will be 8 or 10 I think. She feeds all the cats, and talks to them all day. Since my sister's marriage, she has been alone in the house during the day so those are her babies now. At night she will all tell their stories and gossip about relatives. I will listen thinking about how her life changed. thank you amma for everything. I love you.

This is really true ❤️ My mom never wanted a dog but we brought one, initially she acted like she hated him but then she was the one who used to call him in every hour and loved her like a mother. We lost him after 10 years, and my mom was the one who cried a lot and said she lost her son. It doesn't end here. Just after 1 months we lost him, a random female dog came to our home and gave birth to 9 puppies. Out of those 9 puppies 5 couldn't survive and died within few days. We were helpless as she wasn't allowing us to come close to her puppies. She was very possesive. After few days, she allowed us to come close to her and her puppies. I asked mom can we keep them, she said no. After 2 months passed and we donated 2 puppies. Now we had 2 puppies left. We donated one more but the owner brought him back to us. Now those two puppies are living in our house, below the stairs. My mom who said we can't keep it, now taking care of both of them. She feeds them daily and keep them clean. The puppies are very strong and healthy and everyone among our neighbours love them. We allow the puppies to go out with their mom but they comes back to home with their mom and sleep here. Having a dog is like completing your incomplete life. You can talk to them anytime and the best part is that they listen to you and understand your emotions. I'm very emotional while writing this comment..

Yes we too own the street dogs of our colony , none of the colony members give them food these days , but they r so sweet and loyal they stay in our lawn for 24x7 and gets excited when I come home😄😁

When we got a puppy named Judo, mom clearly said she wouldn't allow. Eventually they became inseparable. One day he showed some discomfort but was okay afterwards. What shocked me was she told him not to go while she is still alive. I was like, dogs won't stay that long then why did she say so, she left us a few months later clearing my doubts and Judo two years after that and he never stopped looking for her since she was gone. 😥 moms are special so are dogs 🙏🙏🙏🙏

And if u r asking about any home remedy, then what we do when Sheru gets sick or doesn't eat anything is - we give him little amount of Honey and try to feed him what he likes to eat, for example our Sheru go crazy when he sees a Sweet Patato or even a simple boiled Patato. But as you might know I am not any expert so please take him to a vet if possible... Thankyou...

My mom never wanted us to get a dog. When we rescued 'Duggu' from street she fell for him and permitted as in a way "ab le to aae ho.....bahar thodi rah paega". We all loved duggu very much. 4 years he lived with us until was bitten by other street dogs and died. It is a heart wrenching pain. But when i see my mom missing him, talking about him.... i feel guilty for making her fall in love with a dog when she never wanted to.
Dogs have shorter lifespan because they live to their fullest. Don't be upset. There are so many Dogs on the streets waiting to be rescued by angels like you. Duggu cannot be replaced but you can always adopt another cutie and give him a home in Duggu's memory

I trained my dog from a very young age and she does pee and potty only inside our toilets. We just have to collect the poop with a tool and flush. And that I refer as cleaning.

This is crazy. In this case, you cannot get anth. Husband might cheat/die, child might die or turn out horrible, dog/cat might die etc etc. In life, people have these things despite the risks.
When it's time to part, it really becomes difficult, but when you realise that you gave them your best and made their life enjoyable and cared for them( specially street rescued dogs) you feel content that they were not suffering on the roadside alone and it makes the pain and sadness less significant and you wish to save more lives

My dad was an amazing person so what I've heard, He was a pastor I've never remeber my life with him, he died when I was 2 years old or so. My mom remarried right after with a guy who was an opposite character my dad. He never wanted us home. So with a lot of abuse to me my elder sister managed to call my aunt. During a big fight before my aunt could take us away my so called mom said "none of these are my children". Well a mother telling this haunts me to this day! Post which our relatives dumped us in an orphanage despite the riches they live on as what my dad left for them. And 29 years later here I'm standing and struggling to survive with constant reminder of what has happened and I despise everything life had in offer. But yea im glad I survived to this day....

When dad retired, he decided he wanted a dog. A companion around the house to keep him company while mom was at work. Mom wasn't keen on it as it would be something else to clean. Dad went to the shelter and picked out a dog, Wilbur. She made it known that she didn't want the dog sleeping in their bed. Wilbur couldn't sleep unless he felt someone was with him. So dad slept with his hand hanging off the bed and next to Wilbur. Mom warmed up of course and loved Wilbur too. Wilbur would sometimes sleep on her lap in the evenings and she'd pick up toys for him play with. Dad has several years with him until he contracted covid in November of 2020. One of the last times we heard him before being put on a ventilator was that he loved us and Wilbur and said "Please take care of my dog." We lost dad December 14th, 2020. Since then, Mom has really showered love on Wilbur. Not just because she promised Dad she'd look after him, but because she loves him too. When mom had to quarantine and dealing with the idea of losing dad, Wilbur was her rock. When she was home alone and grieving, Wilbur was sitting on the armrest snuggled against her. Years ago, mom got Wilbur a little shirt that said "Daddy's Boy." Well, he's got a shirt that says "Momma's Boy" now.

And if u r asking about any home remedy, then what we do when Sheru gets sick or doesn't eat anything is -
we give him little amount of Honey and try to feed him what he likes to eat, for example our Sheru go crazy when he sees a Sweet Patato or even a simple boiled Patato.
But as you might know I am not any expert so please take him to a vet if possible...

But when i see my mom missing him, talking about him.... i feel guilty for making her fall in love with a dog when she never wanted to.

I trained my dog from a very young age and she does pee and potty only inside our toilets. We just have to collect the poop with a tool and flush. And that I refer as cleaning.

My dad was an amazing person so what I've heard, He was a pastor I've never remeber my life with him, he died when I was 2 years old or so. My mom remarried right after with a guy who was an opposite character my dad. He never wanted us home. So with a lot of abuse to me my elder sister managed to call my aunt. During a big fight before my aunt could take us away my so called mom said "none of these are my children". Well a mother telling this haunts me to this day! Post which our relatives dumped us in an orphanage despite the riches they live on as what my dad left for them. And 29 years later here I'm standing and struggling to survive with constant reminder of what has happened and I despise everything life had in offer. But yea im glad I survived to this day....

When dad retired, he decided he wanted a dog. A companion around the house to keep him company while mom was at work. Mom wasn't keen on it as it would be something else to clean. Dad went to the shelter and picked out a dog, Wilbur. She made it known that she didn't want the dog sleeping in their bed. Wilbur couldn't sleep unless he felt someone was with him. So dad slept with his hand hanging off the bed and next to Wilbur. Mom warmed up of course and loved Wilbur too. Wilbur would sometimes sleep on her lap in the evenings and she'd pick up toys for him play with. Dad has several years with him until he contracted covid in November of 2020. One of the last times we heard him before being put on a ventilator was that he loved us and Wilbur and said "Please take care of my dog." We lost dad December 14th, 2020. Since then, Mom has really showered love on Wilbur. Not just because she promised Dad she'd look after him, but because she loves him too. When mom had to quarantine and dealing with the idea of losing dad, Wilbur was her rock. When she was home alone and grieving, Wilbur was sitting on the armrest snuggled against her.
Years ago, mom got Wilbur a little shirt that said "Daddy's Boy." Well, he's got a shirt that says "Momma's Boy" now.
