Sourav Kumar Sinha, the founder of Homversity came up with the problems a student usually faces while booking, onboarding and his stays in the hostel, be it food issues, cleanliness, hygiene and refunds when leaving the hostel. He proposes a solution with the help of his application which will the students to search the hostel and experience a good stay experience, while the maintainance and others will be automatically updated on the application. Will he be able to get investment for his proposal?

Not possible it's gimmick, all do same there's many out there upload only old photos no one's update even not possible for him to update on regular basis even food review or hostel review how can you know how many are true or fake it's just business things no one cares about students or professional our there looking for hostel n pgs you have to visit physically and check. App thing didn't work at all

Was hoping Ritesh would be first to invest in this idea but this must be the first time in Shark Tank that an awesome idea has been rejected by all. This was definitely a sad scene for the guy. He gave absolutely clear answers regardless of his loss or profit.

Vineetha was constantly finding flaws... She was trying to putting him down and steamroll him.... Even the other sharks could have been so much more easygoing .... All of them just started drilling him from the get go. But he handled it so well ✨

Business is not about appeasement rather it is about mutual agreement with constructive criticism........when one's money is at stake....If you today are going to invest anywhere, you should be thorough with your motto, your area of investment, research is needed and when you have someone pitching their product in front off you then you have to be cautious...their aim to is get your monetary aid in their business..and then it becomes the investor's accountability to understand the pros and cons and future scope...So it is very ikely that they ought to ask questions and the pitchers ought to defend themselves and project their vision...here they are not present to encourage budding entrepreneurs...business is a two way process....even the investors lock in their visioned profit when they see fit...else they exit...the pitcher needs to be good at structuring their product first rather than solely finalizing an agreement which is needed.
So she can't even analyse and criticise the business that she may invest in future, what do you expect? She should welcome him with a garland and pamper him because he has come looking for an investment?

@@vaibhav2973 Bhai Pune ko tier-1 kon keh raha hai, tier-2 barely hogi. The only tier-1 cities in India are Mumbai, Bangalore and Delhi. Even cities like Kolkata, Lucknow, Hyderabad etc are not considered tier-1, Pune to door ki baat hai, bhale hi lifestyle acchi hai, par tiers infrastructure se decide hota hai.

founder missed a huge point, in blr, people generally book pg as they are working professionals and hence 3 month avg stay, not for hostels. The platform provides pg as well, maybe that might have saved him but thats my speculation

If they can provide rooms/pg with good quality for less than 5000, that can become the king of Delhi NCR!
I'm myself facing this issue as scarcity of money is one the most imp factors for a student while choosing a room/pg near his/her college.
Sorry but you except hostel / pg under 5000 ??? That too in Delhi 🤡 with good quality that's not possible .. min cost of hostels in Delhi is 10k
But..agr students ke liye kr rhe hai to ..hostels ka rent km hona chahiye.....

I think the Provider App can clear up any doubts about the numbers mentioned in this episode because they've done really well in Delhi NCR.
Idea sahi tha but overall housing target karana chahiye like corporate, MDU, single, student etc. Retention would be very low as its long term rental business.
