I feel like jadeite shouldn't be on this list. It's valuable but not particularly rare even though it is less common than nephrite jade. Quick net search finds a 175-ton stone found recently in Burma and likewise this was used by the Mayan and other Central American cultures such that it will continue to be found in relics from those places. Jadite's price is very 80/20 that is 20 percent of product gets 80 percent of the money, the main market by far is the Hong Kong market serving a fairly narrow definition of jade quality (green or white highly translucent) but lower quality pieces can be had for a lot less (but most 'jade' being sold is likely not jadeite, thousand-plus year tradition of fakes)
