    Almost every video you’ve posted has been doing something with your dad. Cherish those moments brother. My dad passed away a few months ago and the only regret I have is not going out on the water together. Live in the moment and enjoy every second of it. Much love.

    Haha! I had to laugh when your guide said "you're gonna eat good tonight". Walleye is one of my favourite fish to eat. Did you catch any of them? I grew up catching Jack fish (Pike) and Pickerel in Saskatchewan. The lakes that our family had cottages at didn't have Walleye, so Pickerel was the next best thing. Clearly my family never learned the trick about filleting Jacks because my only complaint about them was there were too many bones! Darcy Lake is a beautiful spot. Glad you are enjoying Canada!
    Another very similar sauce to the one you made is: Mayo, lemon juice, dill and horseradish all to taste. It is KILLER! It has the kick from the horseradish, but is also somehow very light. Heather🇨🇦

    Before I even watch this video I will tell you that pike are great if cooked like suckers. Scale them, fillet them with skin on, and score them... that way you don't have to worry about Y bones for they too crisp up when fried. Now I will watch the vid and see if I jumped the gun. lol I really love your videos.

      For some perspective, they are still only a $13 lure here in Saskatoon, these guys are almost 2 hours north from any thing that would resemble civilization, and Prince Albert isnt really a hub. They gouge like crazy up north because they can. There isn't any other place to buy anything.

    • @justindickie5555
      @justindickie5555 5 лет назад

      @@The_Austin_Doell ya that's honestly probably a big profit for those guys up north I know up at nipwan and other lakes up north they do the same thing but I guess you got to take in account especially with the carbon tax lol
