In reality, the tower takes riders to the top of the 230-foot (70-meter) tower aboard a gondola that rotates. Once at the top, the gondola drops down at a speed of 62 mph (100 kph). The most intense part of the ride is probably the VR goggles that may give the rider an illusion of dropping somewhere else, but no one is swinging around the tower, and it never changes in size.

I actually saw this in Korea a long time ago when I was a teen. There were no swing drops and swinging. The tower is edited to look taller. It's actually just like "Drop Zone" from Carowinds except A LOT more seats and a little bit taller.

Yeah, the _real_ gyro drop is fun and when I went there, I had a VR set on me as we went up, but it’s a normal drop tower.
A ride like this depicted on this video would’ve really killed people at the speeds depicted in the video.

That drop is just not safe. First if you have not been on a drop tower, it feels super weird in your stomach when you fall. Even from like 40 feet. But dropping that fast, you would die because of witnessing over at least 7 Gs. Even if you didn’t die, you would be sent to the hospital for severe air loss in your lungs
