Am I the only one who thinks of factories making ammunition at the fastest rate achievable and a general smiling at the progress of the factories when I hear this?
***** The song in the Mask was actually "Hey Pachuco" They have very similar openings. In fact, when my group played this a few years ago, it was written in the drum part "a la Sing, Sing, Sing"
Wow! been searching for this song for some time now...had no idea, it was in the game, maybe i´m not far enough yet. I knew it from the movie "Swing kids", and it actually started to get me interested in Jazz and its history back then...the incredible Gene Krupa!
the pure unreal magic of this. its good to anyone of annnnyyy time. like i would bet 500 bucks you play this for someone in the year 2345 (even without a nuke apocalypse) and it would blow their mind.
I hope the guys who put the soundtrack together get paid more then everybody else- they are the ones that can do the job properly! I have forgetten how many hours I have lost when I get stuck in a wall or a floor
@MarvelroxDCsux That's what I was thinking... There's a lot of songs that don't play often in the game, but I've been playing the game for around 40hrs now and haven't heard this one yet.
@miyamotofan There could a possibility that the song writer is telling YOU (I don't mean that directly) to sing and they just give us a purely instrumental song for us as a canvas.
To anyone actually wondering, some of the songs in the soundtrack aren't even in the game because they were either removed or just didn't make it in. Doesn't matter though, because any 50s song of this style fits with Fallout, since it is its theme.
Actually Louis Prima made it first with lyrics then Benny Goodman made his instrumental cover of it famous and then Gene Krupa covered it along with a couple other swing artists back then. This is Benny Goodman's Carnegie Hall version of it
This song reminds me intensely of a movie. It reminds me first of Monsters Inc. but it also reminds of another movie. I cant think of what it could be right now.
I have a hunch that this was played in one of the Simpsons episodes ages ago and I actually liked it even as shortly as it was played in it... And only now I notice I never got to listen to this kick-ass track while tearing a new arsehole for each BoS boy and girl in town...!
That is the most beautiful moment in the game-when you drink all you turbo and run for Benny,by the way cutting throats to all his bodygurds with a swithblade, and then,at last killing him!
@connordunn123 oh yeah with that guy singing about Brains. but i actually think that was a parody of The W's band. if you check them out on youtube, you'll see the sort of similarity
99% sure this is not in New Vegas.
+GTOAviator 100% sure this is not in new vegas i looked in the game files
+xXProDylanXx Yeah I know :) It would have been fitting though. I'm shocked they still haven't included Mr. Sandman in any of the FO games yet...
yea
+GTOAviator It was going to be in the game. I downloaded this song and replaced Johnny Guitar with it.
+GTOAviator lol ya swing kids anyone?
How awesome would this song have been if it played the first time you enter the strip; would have been perfect
Yeah Obsidian should have done that
*Y E S*

It's not in the game at all actually. Not sure why they uploaded it for fallout new vegas.
Am I the only one who thinks of factories making ammunition at the fastest rate achievable and a general smiling at the progress of the factories when I hear this?
I think of searching the dark web with my 7 year old cousin, awwwww such great memories
Raymond scotts' powerhouse is the one that was also used in cartoons.
Maybe because of the songs similarity to Caravan Palace's Rock it for me, which includes many factory scenes?
it reminds me of that early 2000s cartoon about robots
Little Robots?
I replaced Johnny Guitar with this. Radio is much more enjoyable now.
Lieutenant Lamb good idea
I need to know, how do you do this..?
This reminds me of something......THE MASK!
MrKrumpetz I believe the song in the mask was 'Hey Pachuco' by Royal Crown Revue...
+Krump Hey, Pachuho!
+Krump Hey, Pachuho!
Okay, thanks. Still tapping me feet.
+Krump Stanely Ipkiss

When ever I hear this song I see Atlanta Airpot during rush hour (pretty much all day)
Ahhhh, cut content is the best. Why, New Vegas, must you disappoint? Ahh, but you still were a great game :)
No problem, I love this kind of music. BTW, you made me watch that movie yesterday! hahaha
I really wished this song would be New Vegas but wasted 10 minutes of my life its really good though
This song is in New Vegas though...

I knew it from the movie "Swing kids", and it actually started to get me interested in Jazz and its history back then...the incredible Gene Krupa!

Perfect song when you blowing away Cazadors and fiends... pretty much everything that appears red on the compass.
the pure unreal magic of this. its good to anyone of annnnyyy time. like i would bet 500 bucks you play this for someone in the year 2345 (even without a nuke apocalypse) and it would blow their mind.
thanks!
I hope the guys who put the soundtrack together get paid more then everybody else- they are the ones that can do the job properly! I have forgetten how many hours I have lost when I get stuck in a wall or a floor

@SpongeyCesca I didn't have any idea either, and I've been playing the game almost constantly for two weeks now :D
I don't play video games (i simply like the soundtracks) and this is my favorite song. Benny Goodman was awesome
This song plays when you walk into the Tops for the first time
Never heard this song in nv but now I want it in... Would of been perfect for blowing stuff up
Omg I played this in brass, had NO idea it was on Fallout New vegas ;D
To anyone actually wondering, some of the songs in the soundtrack aren't even in the game because they were either removed or just didn't make it in. Doesn't matter though, because any 50s song of this style fits with Fallout, since it is its theme.

"someone better stop me"! hahah
now THIS is a song to have playing in New Vegas!
Sadly, this song isn't actually in the game. But it fits in so perfectly with it!
@DonOlbacky It is indeed in the soundtrack.
This takes me back to Billy and Mandy, good times.

@miyamotofan in fact the original version has a little part where Louis Prima sing xD
the version of new vegas is arrenged by Benny goodman
@xgom3z9 No that song is Brains by Voltaire and it doesn't really have the same beat as this.
OMG is this in new vegas yeeeeee
it is indeed in one of the casinos
@SmokinTiger108 I agree.
I have a hunch that this was played in one of the Simpsons episodes ages ago and I actually liked it even as shortly as it was played in it... And only now I notice I never got to listen to this kick-ass track while tearing a new arsehole for each BoS boy and girl in town...!
This song wasn't in the game but it was used in the trailers and Dev-Diaries.
This??!! In New Vegas??!! AWESOME!!

@mhfugamer3 this would be good for fallout this song symbolises what "period" fallout trys to reach

Our high school band was supposed to play this because a nearby university was
@IVGARIBALDIVI Hell yeah!
That is the most beautiful moment in the game-when you drink all you turbo and run for Benny,by the way cutting throats to all his bodygurds with a swithblade, and then,at last killing him!
this should play during the battle of hoover dam.
Hehe... Absolute classic.
@animatrix1490
And I always associate it with the scene in Harry Potter 3 where Lupin is teaching that lesson about Boggarts!
