    He use frame from Head PT72A with 16x19 string pattern. The closest racquet that you can buy to Murray's is Head YouTek Prestige Pro.

  • @MrDadsson
    @MrDadsson 10 лет назад

    I play with Head Youtek Radical Mp but I doubt that Murray uses exact the same racket. Usually, the pro's have their own designed rackets with special weight, frame size etc. Robin Söderling was using the same rackets for years (HEAD), they only painted it different so it looked like a new model. Anyway, I hope to see Murray (or any other pro) in the US Open 2014. I'll be there! :) Thanx for the great video.

    Hi there, this is really great. Thank you for doing that. Question, what kind of camera are you using. Is it 120 fps? It looks really good.

    start: both arms extended
    middle: left arms and wrist : right arm stays extended until the swing is completed.
    end: both arms bend at completion...\

    Hi Ian i have a question for you.. I just started playing tennis! I'm right handed with 2 handed BH. My question is, When I'm returning on my BH side, which grip should i use with my right hand?
    Should i use the FH grip (right hand) along with BH grip (left hand)?
    Or should i change my right hand from FH grip to a BH grip?
    The same goes during the rallies, which grip should i use for my right hand on the BH side?
    Ive searched this on youtube but never find something for this issue!
    THANK YOU!

    Im playing tennis for 3 months now, but I'm already at a level of people who are playing for a couple of years! It resulted into people not believing me that I'm only playing for 3 months, they thought I'm way to good for only 3 months of play!
    Ive been watching tennis for over a decade! I Love Tennis!
    Ive watched return clips from Vika & Novak, they change their grip of the right hand when they are hitting a BH (they do it really fast). (btw which is 2nd hand and 1st hand? right of left)

    Look at the spin Nadal imparts on the ball, you can see it even in slow motion !

    • @EssentialTennis
      @EssentialTennis  10 лет назад +5

      Goutham Harsha That's Feliciano Lopez :-)

      *****
      I find it fascinating that the incoming ball has sooooo much topspin on it. Then Andy sends it back with much less spin (or so it seems to my eye). It's like he's deliberately hitting it flat or something.

    • @GeFlous
      @GeFlous 9 лет назад +1

      Robert Ho More spin is induced when the ball bounces - it almost doubles..but you are only seeing the ball as it leaves Andy's racquet, not like it is when the ball is received by the opponent.

    Are you supposed to generate power from the left or right hand when doing a two handed backhand? I know most of it will come from rotation of the body, but as far as which arm is dominant I get confused because I'm still learning to adjust from being a one hander

    • @EssentialTennis
      @EssentialTennis  9 лет назад

      Awesome question, Jeff. I've added it to our list of topics to cover in a future video!

      Left arm is supposed to right arm is there for stability

    • @jesoby
      @jesoby 8 лет назад +1

      +Jeff Tocco varies with player, Nalbandian says he gets power from his right arm and left is just for stability.

    • @gallagherii
      @gallagherii 7 лет назад +1

      Left arm. Body rotates (check Murray's shoulders as he hits) so power comes from the left arm. It is basically a second forehand. Right arm for accuracy and stability. It's a completely different story than one hand backhand. IMO it's simpler and easier to get used to it than one handed backhand.

    I don't understand. Who to believe. Why can't we just be unique. Even pros don't follow what the so call coaches say, it's more like the coaches think their shit is lit and want to change everybody's unique ways into their s.

    • @jason6344
      @jason6344 3 года назад

      because everyone starts with the fundamentals, and when u become good u can change ur form and be unique. they just don’t want you to develop bad habits and get injured.
