This is awesome!!! Loved watching this and sure will watch more times, i really like to see his footwork and how it helps him anticipate. Thanks for sharing!!!
I play with Head Youtek Radical Mp but I doubt that Murray uses exact the same racket. Usually, the pro's have their own designed rackets with special weight, frame size etc. Robin Söderling was using the same rackets for years (HEAD), they only painted it different so it looked like a new model. Anyway, I hope to see Murray (or any other pro) in the US Open 2014. I'll be there! :) Thanx for the great video.
Hi Ian i have a question for you.. I just started playing tennis! I'm right handed with 2 handed BH. My question is, When I'm returning on my BH side, which grip should i use with my right hand? Should i use the FH grip (right hand) along with BH grip (left hand)? Or should i change my right hand from FH grip to a BH grip? The same goes during the rallies, which grip should i use for my right hand on the BH side? Ive searched this on youtube but never find something for this issue! THANK YOU!
Im playing tennis for 3 months now, but I'm already at a level of people who are playing for a couple of years! It resulted into people not believing me that I'm only playing for 3 months, they thought I'm way to good for only 3 months of play! Ive been watching tennis for over a decade! I Love Tennis! Ive watched return clips from Vika & Novak, they change their grip of the right hand when they are hitting a BH (they do it really fast). (btw which is 2nd hand and 1st hand? right of left)
***** I find it fascinating that the incoming ball has sooooo much topspin on it. Then Andy sends it back with much less spin (or so it seems to my eye). It's like he's deliberately hitting it flat or something.
Robert Ho More spin is induced when the ball bounces - it almost doubles..but you are only seeing the ball as it leaves Andy's racquet, not like it is when the ball is received by the opponent.
Are you supposed to generate power from the left or right hand when doing a two handed backhand? I know most of it will come from rotation of the body, but as far as which arm is dominant I get confused because I'm still learning to adjust from being a one hander
Left arm. Body rotates (check Murray's shoulders as he hits) so power comes from the left arm. It is basically a second forehand. Right arm for accuracy and stability. It's a completely different story than one hand backhand. IMO it's simpler and easier to get used to it than one handed backhand.
I don't understand. Who to believe. Why can't we just be unique. Even pros don't follow what the so call coaches say, it's more like the coaches think their shit is lit and want to change everybody's unique ways into their s.
because everyone starts with the fundamentals, and when u become good u can change ur form and be unique. they just don’t want you to develop bad habits and get injured.
Loving Andy here playing tennis ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Early racket preparations, body positioning, weight transfer, ball contact. Andy is a great player to watch. Thanks for this clip.
You're welcome!
The Andy Murray double handed backhand is a thing of beauty!
This is the best slow motion video ever.
I wish to watch newer top pros play.
Murray's game is one of the most beautiful I have seen i don't know why he gets so much crap from people.
Always admired Andy's crushing backhand

Great video, thank you.
You're very welcome, Marcel!
He use frame from Head PT72A with 16x19 string pattern. The closest racquet that you can buy to Murray's is Head YouTek Prestige Pro.

Hi there, this is really great. Thank you for doing that. Question, what kind of camera are you using. Is it 120 fps? It looks really good.
start: both arms extended
middle: left arms and wrist : right arm stays extended until the swing is completed.
end: both arms bend at completion...\
7:27 so cool!!
The silence in tis video is wat these players hav in mind and around wen tey r playing at match!!! so tey r caled as pros....
what fps, resolution and camera to make this?? NICE video

Im new to tennis. What is that shot call? 4:10
Brian Nguyen Defensive backhand lob.
My favourite backhand in tennis.
Damo In Its a really clean, simple shot!
Me to!
his feet are amazing to watch. It's like he weighs 1 pound.
Who's the hitting partner? (Danny's on the sidelines)
Feliciano Lopez I think and Richard Gasquet.
Look at the spin Nadal imparts on the ball, you can see it even in slow motion !
Goutham Harsha That's Feliciano Lopez :-)

So epic!

Awesome question, Jeff. I've added it to our list of topics to cover in a future video!
+Essential Tennis - Lessons and Instruction for Passionate Players much appreciated
Left arm is supposed to right arm is there for stability
+Jeff Tocco varies with player, Nalbandian says he gets power from his right arm and left is just for stability.

So good!
My two hander sucks, luckily I have excellent slice but not ideal for passing net rushers.
Here's some coaching that will help! ruclips.net/video/0idJgRaCZBQ/видео.html

Most overrated player in the history of tennis.
He's not overrated. He deserves all the recognition the people, Particularly the Brits has given to him.
