Ste comes across an upset Cindy and they have an emotional conversation. Cindy mentions that Theresa remembered another car involved before the crash. Ste goes to a narcotics support meeting and is talking about doing something really bad when he realises Dave has joined the group. He doesn't know what Dave might have thought so he talks to him about the importance of keeping it confidential. When Dave asks, Ste lies and says he cheated on James. Dave's suspicions are aroused later when Cindy mentions that she had an emotional chat with Ste and again the next day when Ste runs off instead of helping Cindy with Ella's order of service leaflets. When Ste and James go to The Dog, Dave is there and when James is out of earshot, Dave comments about Ste's 'cheating' and Ste changes his story. Dave keeps pushing and Ste tells him his focus should be on Cindy...
