I saw this show. Goos were one of the best live bands of the 90s, which is saying a lot. A friend who worked promo for Warner insisted I see them, they were all convinced they hit gold with Johnny. And they were right. But the music lived up to the hype and thats a rarity.
This track sounds killer. They still perform this tune live but not with this raw energy. This was my fave era of Goos, mid 90s. The set list for this show is Great, 'Boy named Goo' is my is my fave Goo's album by far. Man..I wish I could go back in time to see this show live, at least I will be able to get it on CD.
I have the Milwaukee summer fest broadcast bootleg from this year, and I can’t wait to get a copy of this show! I saw them at Nassau Community college around this time for only 10 bucks admission. What a souvenir from my first year of college era!
Pre-ordered the 3xLP set instantly! Would love to see a remastered live recording from around 1998 when they were playing Lazy Eye, Bulletproof, Hate This Place and other older cuts regularly
Those three songs you named are some of their absolute best bangin' tracks. I also pre-ordered the 3 LP. The neighbors will be time traveling back to 1995 along with me.
@@Marathon97 I think the era when they were touring Dizzy would have been my optimum time as a GGD fan to have seen them live. Couldn’t care less about Slide/Iris, but hearing a good mixture of the first 5 records with a sprinkling of DUTG deep cuts would have been heaven
@@seanhampson6046 when I opened RUclips and saw this, I got super excited!!! But I was kinda hoping there’d be more..that may be coming soon. Can’t they just post the whole show? Ah, well, this just may give them a reason to play this song in concert. One time I listened to the dolls performing in 2018 and they played this but they didn’t do the outro where Johnny sings “am I too young for the world”. What? That’s one of the best parts because it’s really easy for me to sing along to since he sings so high lol.

I just saw you guys in Idaho falls! I remember listening to name over and over when I had to work in the middle of the desert, must have thought of my whole life over and over! Was a great show!!!😎🤙🏼
They aren’t coming where I live this year, but I saw them last year, august 30, 2022. That was amazing! I was hoping they would play slave girl or two days or cuz you’re gone, but they might play them this year or next! I’ll see them next year hopefully!!

"I could stop the world ('cause I love you)" -- This could be a reference to John talking about his then-wife Laurie Farinacci. It is known this song was written only by him, so the lyrics may be referring to her.

I just seen them on August 25th, 2023, it was just as amazing live as you see in their vidoes or on TV. True Goo fans love the older stuff like this.
