I have a C4 R1 Yae miko that I run with Nahida and she can't even clear the abyss floor 12-1. My artifacts aren't the best but my Miko is still hitting 17k unbuffed turret damage. It's around 35k with aggravate reaction. On my other team I run a C2 Yelan with a C1 Hu tao both with their signature weapons. Can't clear abyss in time. My supports aren't very invested in but tbh which I know is an issue here but it shouldn't be given that constellations on 5 stars are so expensive. They should be able to blow through the abyss even with mediocre supports.

the mainest yae miko main is having a hard time doing the current abyss?? i guess i'll just keep my peace and not do it for this cycle.

I wouldn't say he's having a hard time with Yae. It is the top half that is meant for her (and also for Kaz), and that side does get demolished by her pretty well. He does mention having to retry 12-3 a bunch, but that isn't too surprising given he's relying on Benny for healing. Circle Impact against beasties while playing a squishy character isn't ideal. Would be better off with a team that uses Yaoyao or Baizhu for healing, and then adds a second electro (Fischl or Raiden are both strong choices, while Kuki could add a bit more healing at the cost of some offense, but probably require regearing for a non-reaction triggering role, but does make it possible to use Karira for dendro application)). But he doesn't seem to have Baizhu, and can't see if he has Yaoyao (and has her built). If he does, well, a bit less focus on Yae's personal damage numbers, and a bit more on overall team performance and it'd be much simpler.
Personally, I did the top half with a suboptimal Yae aggravate team consisting of Yae, Raiden, Sayu, and Yaoyao, a set up that leaves a plenty of room for improvement, though does give me plenty of healing. On my recommendation, a friend used Baizhu, Yae, Raiden (his Fischl isn't built), and Kaz, and he walked through it, with lower cons than I have, and he was slightly annoyed at how easy the top half was, given that he'd been struggling before.
And that should leave plenty of time for the bottom half, which really cares more about having the right elemental application than anything else. Like Benny to help break those cryo shields, and Nahida for the hydro ones (and she demolishes the bird as well). Heck, he could even go Venti for the Yae team, and free up Kaz to help the bottom half as well, for a pyro infusion against the cryo heralds.

@Axterix13 yes, you put it perfectly! the other thing is also my Yae team focuses only on a big number, not DPS at all. its my favorite playstyle and team, but def isnt optimal at all, and it got exposed on this abyss. this abyss just emphasizes even more the biggest part of the game, team composition over everything, and the only reason I could beat easier before was cuz my Yae was strong, thats it.
