@@danahugel so true, its a shame that they do that because it has some of my favorite skam characters out of all of the shows, but the conclusions to the relationships of Isa and Liv at the ends of their seasons seemed like they could have been so much more satisfying with better writing. Like in S1, Isa never discussed how their relationship was flawed because of how it originated with the betrayal of Olivia, like they talk about in the original. And in this season, Noah never explains how he could have been mad even after seeing the video, and they forget to touch more on Liv's past. I love the characters so much though.

This clip made no sense. Noah was a b*tch to Liv, didn't care to hear her out, got to say the last word without really apologizing about anything, they didn't talk shit out. And having her cry in a wedding dress over him was pathetic and a disservice to Liv as a character. I had high hopes for this season but honestly this clip made 0 sense within the story

I don't think this clip necessarily is supposed to resolve all of their issues. I actually saw this as the first step towards going through those issues. At this moment we all know Noah is really not listening to liv, let alone trust her. but he saw what lengths she can go to make him stay and listen to her and that might be why he came back. idk maybe I am imagining things on my own.

I hope they talk shit out because they are ignoring issues in their relationship and it will harm both of them later. I’m 100% they are going to break up in the next seasons, this is so unhealthy. I expected nothing less from Skam nl: weird, bizzare, over the top, crazy, beautiful and emotional. Its perfect. Liv was not about to give Noah a talk on how being lonely sucks, of course she would say he looks like a painting as well, of course she would borrow a wedding dress and come to the door like a stalker, as Noah did for the first episodes coming to her house, but she took it to the next level dressing as a bride after noah ask her twice to marry him. Of course skam nl would have her crying walkig in the park wearing the dress and of cooourse noah would *not* be coming running dramaticly after her, of course he would call her a crybaby... but then, they have him huging her first and saying he's sorry... and then kissing. Skam NL you did THAT.

YIKES. these actors are cute but noah and liv have had like, what? a total of two conversations. do they even know anything about each other on a deeper level? i can't get invested in a relationship when it feels like they've been together for less than a week and all i've done is either argue, fight or make out. i hated og william/noora but even they felt like they had more of an emotional connection than these two. and i hate that the writers are treating liv this way. constantly humiliating her, having her be the one to make the grand gesture and be the one to apologize when it should be the other way around. they've handled this whole sa storyline terribly and i didn't think it was handled all that well in og s2 but even they did it better than skam nl which is a shocker because i thought they had so much potential to fix the issues og s2 had.

Noah got mad thinking Liv and Morris had sex except Liv's statement made it clear that if something happened it was a rape. That's what's so devastating to me. I'm not even thinking about the video. Don't get me wrong, I thought they were really cute together so it's not me trying to find fault with "the William character".

The problem with this scene is that it should've been emotional and they had scream in each other's faces and Liv was supposed to tell Noah what really happened! Not pull this soap operistic wedding dress bullshit. This scene was unintentionally funny, zero emotions though. I'm so disappointed in this season, not gonna lie.
I couldn't agree more. I vented on the scene where she talked to him at the lockers. So rushed, so apologetic and for what? I feel like we got robbed. This remake started off strong this season and...I dunno, super disappointing. The characters have been so charming that it was a bit easy to gloss over the poor writing...but this.....ughhhhhh. NOPE! ROBBED!

I really think the writers fucked this arc, and it's only our love of (the original character of) Noah that means we are all happy now... I really thought this Skam would pull off a different, better story/character arc for these two. But I guess that's just me.

I love skam nl, but was this meant as an exaggeration of the stereotypical image of a girl in love? the absolute lack of communication, liv constantly apologizing, crying off her makeup in a wedding dress of all things, basically desperately wanting to noah to take her back and then out of nowhere, he does and everything is fine? it feels a little parody like.
Ok, the more I think about this, the more upset I get. So here it is, out of genuine love for Skam, a brief-ish *feminist* *critique* . The show started well: for once, Liv was tough and vulnerable, had ambitions, stood up for herself, made fun of herself, i.e. was a complex character. Better yet, we finally got a 'William' who was complex too, i.e. more than just a 'bad boy' with money. He was charming and loaded, yes, but he had artistic interests, he got vulnerable, he wasn't your physical embodiment of male virility (think all other Williams and their big cars & physiques & sport - all traditionally masculine tropes). He wrote her a poem, he got giddy the first morning they woke up together, he threw her out bc of Morris but then *actually, sincerely, directly apologised*, he said 'I love you' first, he threw punches but then explained in a reasonable way why they were justified, he gave her space when she needed it. We had every right to expect that for once, this was not going to be your stereotypical (semi-toxic masculinity) William. And then the assault happens. And it's awful. And Liv is hurt. And what does our 'better' William do? Ignore her. Believe the (previously clearly stated was not to be trusted) brother (i.e. another man). When she confronts him to explain, he denies her. Indeed, she falls from his shove off and he doesn't even blink an eye. So what does our 'kick ass' Liv do? She confronts her assailant. We cheer. She tries to explain, setting aside her pride and fear. We cheer. She is brave. We cheer. She is guilted into doing even more, on the pretence of missing out on the greatness that is Noah ignoring her? We cheer. Then Skam gives us the finale. In which Liv puts on the dress, decides weeks of ignoring her are ok, and marches one final time to get her man. He again dismisses her. Then he (entirely nonsensically) comes running back, saying a quick sorry (for what exactly?) and what does she do? Does she confront him? Does she explain why he cannot just kiss this away? Does she insist that to be together properly (the added irony: this is a wedding scene), they first need to address why what he did was so hurtful, otherwise this is not a baseline for a good relationship, i.e. for something worth crying about? Is she the tough girl with substance we were cheering for? Oh no. She returns the kiss, happily. And so here we have it: the perfect example of 'lean in' feminism. We celebrate the girl for killing herself to get to the man (or that job), while at the same time at no point recognising or challenging the 'system' in which Noah's feelings are more important than her hurt. He's pretty and that trumps everything, including her self worth. And yes, he said quick sorry first, then sent a text saying he was wrong. But is that really all Liv's assault is worth? Forgive me for thinking that, given how these characters started, for once we would get true equality: both equally recognising each other's hurt, both being willing to look at bigger picture equally, both doing the same work. I get that these are teenagers, and one of Skam's continued messages is we are all imperfect, but we celebrate strength and honesty and 'not-being-typical' in Liv - why do we seemingly excuse their absence in Noah? We are in 2019. For a show that gave us other TV revolutions (e.g. a complex Muslim character/storyline, a complex gay storyline), why does this universe still seem incapable or unwilling to be revolutionary about gender relations by challenging traditional roles/behaviours between men and women all the way through? Liv deserved better, and so did Noah's original character. PS I say this because I LOVED the start of this Skam. This was the only Noorhelm I ever cared about. I totally get writing is hard, and we don't all get what we want. I am also not trying to construct perfect beings here - it is not about that. But I really got invested in this, and so thought I'd share what are only my thoughts, respectfully.

Well, this was a disappointment. I am totally down with the wedding dress, and until Noah opened the door, everything was perfect. But what the hell happened after that? Did they skip a part in the middle in the script? And why? A smile, sorry and a kiss doesn't solve anything.

I'm disliking more and more this version. I tried to enjoy it, but I feel like this serie is all about the aesthetic, and not about reality and feelings, sensations. It's really beautiful don't get me wrong, the comparaison to the paintings, the wedding dress stuff like that, but I can't feel truly the life of these characters, and I really miss that.
Why is everything about this so random and comedic? The wedding dress, the great wave, Noah's potato pouch traveling bag, liv's mascara tears...
