- The fight scene between Lute and Vaggie in the Hazbin Hotel season 1 finale was brutal! They both have very different morals as angels, Lute is willing to do anything as an exorcist and stays faithful to the cause while Vaggie couldn’t bring herself to fully commit to the horrible things an exorcist has to do and for this she was punished. When they last met, Lute took out one of Vaggie’s eyes and clipped her wings as Adam removed her halo. They left Vaggie in probably the most vulnerable and hurt state of her life. There was clearly a lot of animosity and anger between the two of them in the show and this all built up to that fight scene so I decided to rewrite Respectless for their epic battle! 😈⚔️

I had already heard this suggestion of Adam being only pleased by Lute's submission and not truly caring for her, but this time it somehow hit much harder. It's just unremitting angst all the way down with those two.
I do wonder how much did Adam care for Lute. If it was Lute who died in the finale, would he have reacted the same as her in cannon, or would he have not cared?

I just hope not to see her go through all sorts of ordeals as she seemed prepared to and for whatever feelings she had for him, only discover she didn't truly mean anything to him at all. I know they were both viscious and that she would probably deserve it, but it would still feel atrocious. We'll see.

If this happens, maybe this would lead to her getting a redemption arc.
I had an idea, and somewhat did a video of it, for Lute’s possible future where basically she eventually gets herself banished for Heaven for a reason related to her being blinded by revenge (Maybe she accidentally kills another angel for suggesting the exterminations cease ). She would be at her lowest and ask Charlie to kill her. Charlie being Charlie doesn’t and brings her to the hotel. Eventually Roo appears and brings Adam back to confront Lute, who at this point has grown closer to the cast. Lute will have to choose either Adam or Charlie and her new ‘friends’
Sort of like a Joker Harley scenario
I don’t know if this is the path they would take or if this would be the best path, but it is an interesting idea for Lute.

Someone also suggested that if this does happen, or at least something similar, Lute would eventually fall in love with a sinner and that’s when she realized Adam never loved her.
@@Senwa_ZennoFor now is truly unpredictable. I personally have the softest spot on Adam x Lute, but I also struggle to see a plausible scenario in which they get a happy ending. They were just so hearthless for everyone rather than maybe each other, and with Lute set on revenge and Adam lost wherever angelic steel sends a soul IF it sends it anywhere at all, the both of them redeeming together or by their own seem almost equally improbable outcomes. Can't wait to hurt myself finding out, I guess.

I think Lute will try to kill Charlie in the next season or future seasons to avenge Adam, but the chances of her succeeding is pretty low.
