I don’t think you should remove the fish because they ate some crabs. Melanarus wrasse is one of the best pest control fish you could get. Just use larger snails and larger crabs. The little red leg and blue legs are little murderers and don’t eat much algae anyway. Melanarus wrasse much more useful than some crabs. Keeps your corals and clams safe from flat worms and pyramid snails, etc
I have my melanarus wrasse and love him never had any pests since I got him. Idk why you got rid of yours, and I have hermit crabs and shrimp also, he doesn't go after them are you sure he was getting your crabs and are you feeding enough
You are lucky Roger. Coris and melanurus wrasse along with many others normally eat snails and crabs as part of their diet, especially as they age. That being said, wrasses don't read books and you might have the rare exception.
Sweet catch
Thanks Rick!
That was a fun to watch video
Awesome, thank you for letting me know. I appreciate your feedback.
That worked nice. 👍

I’m not a saltwater fan but this was pretty entertaining.
Many thanks for watching Gore! What fish do you keep?

Thanks for watching and commenting Chris! I am happy to share the video.
Nice
Thanks
Can u buy banner butterfly fish it will be cool inside your tank
I am not sure how it will do with corals. I am getting corals soon. I know most butterfly fish are not reef safe
That was pretty awesome. If you take the door off the fish trap it would be perfect for feeding seahorses.
Thanks! Great idea, thanks for sharing.
great video! but I'd suggest just not having hermit crabs. I've found they always end up messing with my corals at some point or another
I will keep an eye on them once I start getting coral. Thanks for the heads up and for watching.
