This is a great video, best i've seen. I've got one question, when i go to GT metrix to copy paste the domains to preload - Do you copy past all except your domain? It seems i've got a lot more than what you had. Many on my site are ad related or cdn, cookies (ezoic). Your screen is blurry, so I can't get a clear shot of the domains your entering into preload DNS.
Ezoic complicates your situation a little bit. They actually have their own suite of optimization tools you may want to look into using before setting up WP Rocket or a similar optimization plugin. Otherwise, I'd suggest adding all domains to except for your CDNs. Adding the CDNs may have unexpected results based on the user visiting the website, where the traffic is / which CDN subserver kicks in.
Great vid! Just one question, with these wp-rocket settings I really did boost my site. When i do a speedtest my main website is 99% but when I do another speedtest of one of my blogs on the website my results are 56%. How can i speed this up?
When you scan the blog page, you'll need to see what issues are happening and resolve them. In our experience, many bloggers have "an image problem" and resizing and compressing images, along with lazyloading them, is typically a good solution. Also, look into Crit. Path CSS.
Thanks for this video, our site is SO much faster now and everything you outlined is easy as hell to do
You're welcome! Glad to know you made your website faster with Rocket! 🚀
