@@darkeen42 The Gospels were used way before the Council of Nicaea. The early church fathers such as Pliny the younger quote them. The council of Nicaea just confirmed the Deity of Christ, it did not determine what would be in the Bible or not. Plus the Council of Nicaea was Catholic.

He claims that he rejected Christianity because his experiences didn’t line up with the morality he currently believes in. I truly appreciate this ministry, especially in getting this generation to think about Jesus rather than just dismissing Him because it's popular to do so. I do wish more Christians understood that the OT is neither separated from nor conflicting with the NT. Paul identifies Jesus as the God of the OT (maybe most explicitly 1 Cor. 10), yet many Christians mistakenly concede that the God of the OT is not representative of, or in total agreement with, Jesus. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever...His forever goes into eternity past and future. If there is a decision God makes that seems immoral or otherwise faulty in our view, as Christians we are faced with a choice; either God is who He says He is (Light, Good, etc) and I need to prayerfully seek how the event in question reveals His goodness and love, or God is not who He says He is and is, at times, not loving or good. We do have the freedom of such a choice, but we should acknowledge that one choice puts God in a position that is superior to my own and requires me to humble myself in acknowledging that I don't know all. The other submits God to man's finite understanding and make man the judge of ultimate goodness and wisdom. Personally, I don't believe we have to look far into history to see how placing man's 'goodness' as the highest measure can be dangerous and misguided.

To answer the first lady's question: (The misrepresentation of atheism as they dont have a faith in science but more of a faith in questioning.) Inherently that is a contradictory statement as the atheist/science has a tenet to question, but they do not follow this by claiming to be atheist as that is the disbelief in God, meaning they have not fully questioned consistently from both sides but chose to not believe something that nor is proven or disproven by hard science.
Religion is man's attempt to understand God and to reconcile himself with Him. Christianity on the other hand is God's accomplishment of reconciling man to Himself. Tremendous difference. Our hearts must be examined and we must be careful to let the Holy Spirit do this searching. If we try to search our own hearts, we are apt to fall into one or two traps. One is morbid introspection. Introspection can easily become a tool of satan who is called the accuser Rev 12:10. One if his chief weapons is discouragement. He knows that if he can make us discouraged and dispirited we will not fight the battle of holiness. Second trap is missing the real issues in our lives. The deceitfulness of Satan and of our own Hearts will lead us to focus on secondary issues. We have a deceitful unsearchable heart and the Holy Spirit enables us to see such areas in which we are blind. Indwelling sin tends to deceive our understanding or reasoning. Deceit of the mind is carried on by degrees little by little we are first drawn away from watchfulness then from obedience. We are drawn away from watchfulness by overconfidence. we come to believe we are Beyond particular temptation. We are often drawn away from obedience by the abuse of Grace. "Who changed the grace of your God into a license for immorality" Jude 4. We are drawn away from obedience when we begin to question What God Says in his word, this is Satan's first tactic with Eve. 1) Some-thing can only come into existence out of a state of no-thing. Otherwise some-thing couldn’t be anything else than every-thing. The state of no-thing on the other hand has the potential to manifest every-thing. Therefore, some-thing and no-thing are of equal value. Not surprisingly the same result is obtained in mathematics but I prefer my own thought via a philosophical approach. Thinking for yourself has proven to be a great way to keep devils, angels, goblins, leprechauns and god(s) at a distance, but that aside. 2) There are good reasons to compare the coming into existence of universes with something we all enjoyably know: ejaculations. Most spermatozoa are destined for the drain and only one amongst the million losses viable. We are living in one of the universes viable for life, probably amongst many failed or disabled universes; hence the absolutely not miraculous fine tuning of our cosmic surroundings. We’re lucky and we are translating our luck, a very common human characteristic, into pride, prejudice and the preposterous idea that a super being is overseeing each of us and sad or happy depending on the position of our hands above or below the sheets. 3) So, the absolute beginning from the very first universe must have started from a very fine tilting point in a state where there was no difference between some- and no-thing. Quantum mechanics has learned us that energy can be borrowed for such a short time that the balance between the two states isn’t affected. Unimaginable stretches of time and evolution have done the rest in a trial, error and rarely, but in view of the incredible time lapses, unavoidable success way. We perceive the end result like a magic trick. Conclude that the pigeon out of the head is pure wizardry until the magician explains every step of the astonishing experience. 4) if an all powerful god existed, why in the name of the one no one should believe in, would that being make the billion of years detour instead of just creating a made and ready universe? Unless you reject the fact, no, no longer the theory, but the fact of evolution. If that’s the case, then you are worshipping a god created or accepted out of pure and maybe even wilful ignorance. 5) if god existed there would be no need to prove his existence because he / she / it would be perceived or at the very least be experienced by believers and non believers alike and since that’s clearly not the case it’s safe to say that god(s) are man made and not the other way around. That’s also why there are approximately, at present, 4.300 religions with matching super bff to suit different cultures, regions and tribes. 6) Seneca, ancient Roman philosopher: ‘for common people religion is true, for wise men false and useful for rulers’. The story of Jesus, his miracles and resurrection Ask 1000 followers of Kenneth Copeland if he can heal the sick, paralysed and disabled. Well, you know the answer. Ask 1000 followers of Copeland if he could resurrect someone from the dead. You know the answer Ask 1000 followers of Copeland if they witnessed a resurrection performed by Copeland and at least 100 will testify on their life and the life of their children that they witnessed a resurrection done by one of the biggest spiritual con men in our day and age. Should give you some idea about the value of testimonials in Jesus time. People turn their wishes into beliefs and from that principle all religions are born.
Man, I didn't think I would hear Cliffe and his son jump on the bandwagon of redefining the word "religion" to be what mainstream Christianity is starting to define as empty practices and rituals separate from a relationship with God, when the bible clearly defines religion as a relationship with God. For example, in the New Testament, the Greek word “θρησκεία” (threskeia) is sometimes translated as “religion” and refers to acts of worship or devotion, particularly those of an external nature. For instance, James 1:26-27 discusses religion in terms of controlling one’s tongue and caring for orphans and widows, emphasizing that pure and faultless religion is to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. The Bible also speaks of “εὐσέβεια” (eusebeia), often translated as “godliness” or “piety,” which reflects a more internal, personal aspect of one’s relationship with God. It suggests a way of life that is pleasing to God, encompassing beliefs, attitudes, and actions. Overall, the biblical perspective on religion focuses more on the quality of one’s relationship with God and the expression of faith through actions, rather than a system of rituals or doctrines alone.

The real reason why the unbelievers might separate themselves from the company of believers, is because the believers are inadvertently offending them. How so you might ask. The unbelievers will be receiving an insult from you because they know for sure that you love God and probably are worshipping Him, namely Jesus Christ. And that insults them. Why again you might ask. Ok if we can own up to the fact that we are all wanting, on some level, to be admired or acknowledged or appreciated by our fellow man, then we can understand the unbelievers incapacity to want to hang out with believers, because they feel slighted that our admiration for them has been lessened or diminished by our love for God. Do they know this is the reason? No way. But that’s the real reason. It’s the same reason why we have table manners. Its so we don’t offend. The real purpose of table manners is to convey to those whom we are dining with, that they are of much more importance than the food before us. How many people actually know this? Probably just you and me thats on the proviso of course that you actually believe me.
@UCjapz7bpB-gcAKOJlM76DLA All I am trying to say is that all of us hope there is some aspect of ourselves that’s worthy of being appreciated. And that’s to be expected. That’s normal. It’s the way God has made us. But the realisation that unbelievers will never accept believers as they do other unbelievers, because they don’t feel that appreciation from us, although they should, is a good reality for us be aware of. And therefore don’t be dismayed or feel rejected if you become separated from their company because in actuality it’s a good thing because such a separation will contribute to preserving and growing your faith. Perhaps the example of table manners wasn’t a good one and therefore I shouldn’t have used it.
After re reading the end part of my post relating to table manners I’m now shocked by my pomposity and all I can say is I’m sorry. And as true sorrow is always accompanied by a true purpose of amendment, l hope that I amend my ways. I certainly shall try.

How can atheism be unfairly represented? Saying that atheism has one definition and that is that all atheists claim they are certain God doesn't exist. Saying atheists just hate God is a complete misuse of the definition. Both are an attempt to misrepresent atheism to make atheists look bad in order to discredit them. Many theists are taught by other theists what atheism is, when you need to ask an atheist what atheism is. It would be silly for me to base what Christianity is based on what atheists say about Christianity. The difference here though is that most atheists in the U.S. were once Christians, whereas most Christians were never atheists. There are in fact atheists who believe that religion is a good thing or was necessary in the past and that belief in God can be useful for society even if God doesn't exist. Then there are atheists who only care if something is true, even if the truth would destroy society. I am somewhere in the middle. Most people don't really care to truly understand the other person's actual position and from what I have seen, this happens much more with Christianity than it does for any other belief or lack thereof. Many Christians "know" they are right and won't even consider the idea that they could be wrong. That is a dangerous thing. Most atheists are open to the possibility that God exists, it is just nearly impossible to convince most atheists that God does exist. Many of uis require knowledge to believe that to the same degree we have a knowledge that if we drive a car into a wall at 50 mph that the physics will negatively impact our bodies. Lack of belief is the default position, starting when you are a child. No child who is just born has a belief about anything. What religion does is it builds a belief in a person before that person is able to properly reason and assess evidence. That is why religion, specifically Christianity and Islam are so prevalent in society. They also have "answers" to big questions that atheists don't have answers to and play on base fears, such as the fear of death, the unknown (and unknowable) and injustice.
Saving repentance is realizing that you are a sinner deserving of God's just punishment in Hell and turn (repent) from whatever you trusted in before, if indeed you trusted in anything; to trusting in the person and finished work of Christ alone for salvation.
but a ship can't create, and it depends on an already established foundation (water) to progress beyond its starting point. we can create, and we do, which allows us to progress beyond our starting point (nature) without an already established one (requires god to exist)
Honest question, how can you not believe that the shroud of Turin is a piece of evidence that Jesus was here and rose from the dead, And scientific evidence that concludes it?
How does there be so many atheist raising questions in cliffes comments? And it’s usually directed towards the people that are just grateful for their faith and showing love to Cliffe, it’s almost never just a personal comment left for the most part, and it’s also usually basic ass questions that if you’d just watch the videos by cliffe you’d have your answers to. I think it’s because they know deep down that their beliefs hurt them, and their lives have not the same deep loving belief structure that we have as followers of Christ. Maybe a bit of uncovered subconscious jealousy? I don’t know for sure, but I pray y’all find the Lord for real man. Every time I see one of those comments it gives off hurtful negative vibes ngl.
@@sterlingfallsproductions3930 there’s a difference when questions are asked out of love and when questions are asked out of spite or to demean someone’s belief in Christ. I never said Cliffe was a perfect person man.
@@sterlingfallsproductions3930 and like I was saying, most all questions the atheist have get answered by Cliffe in the videos. Most points get debunked to a great extent. So in my mind it seems as though said atheist either - one : don’t finish the video and prematurely comment a question or statement that was already answered had they just finished it. Or two: they know Cliffe made his point, but choose to go after Christians or followers of Christ in the comment sections seeing them as weaker more uneducated prey compared to Cliffe, to perhaps get off on being right in their own mind as the less educated Jesus follower can’t make all the same points that Cliffe does.
@@sterlingfallsproductions3930 hey man you might be right on that I don’t got all the answers, and from all the videos I’ve seen Cliffe doesn’t either, nobody does. All I’m saying is 9/10 when a follower of Christ comments something dealing with their faith on here (not looking for debates) they get met with atheists trying to disprove God just for the sake of doing it, like you can’t say that doesn’t happen vastly more than a hypocritical Christian trying to start a debate out of nowhere with an atheist, at most it’ll usually just be a “well I pray you find Christ” and that’s it. From what I’ve seen atheist for the MOST part, not all the time ofc have this in-ate drive to disprove God to somebody that’s just simply found faith in him. Personally I believe we all have free choice to believe what we want do and say what we want and so forth. It’s just a bit of a concern when more times than not the atheist is innately spreading hate whilst a true follower of Christ spreads absolute love and nothing but.
@@sterlingfallsproductions3930 If a “Christian”gets off on being right in any debate, then I don’t see them as following in the footsteps of Christ tbh as he was the most humble man to ever live. That’s pride to want to disprove someone for the sake of disproving someone, but if your providing evidence to make a case for your belief out of love for the other person and their future, then I can’t see a problem with that. No forcing, just loving communication. That’s the way it should be. From what I’ve seen Cliffe does that, but I’ll do some more studying on his work and watch some of the unedited stuff that your talking about to make a better call. Like I said man I’m going off of everything I’ve seen thus far.
Why is it so hard to believe in a “young earth”? Firstly, God’s word clearly says that in six days He spoke creation into existence and rested on the seventh day. In Hebrew the word “yom” (day) combined with a number always speaks of a 24h day, and when God commands the Israelites to keep the sabbath He says “For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day; therefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day and made it holy.” Exodus 20:11 The only connection which is made between the work week and the creation week is the literal days-work six days, rest one day just as God did in creation. Secondly, because of the belief of uniformitarianism geological and fossil data is misinterpreted. The theory of uniformitarianism says that changes in the earth's crust during geological history have resulted from the action of continuous and uniform processes. Given the biblical account of the flood we know that the theory is false, because there have been great changes when the whole earth was cataclysmically flooded. “For when they maintain this, it escapes their notice that by the word of God the heavens existed long ago and the earth was formed out of water and by water, through which the world at that time was destroyed, being flooded with water.” 2 Peter 3:5-6
When they do rip you off, and you prove it to yourself, trust yourself first. For some people, Jesus is their best friend and for a very good reason. That's the whole point behind having a relationship with your savior, He might say, well done good and faithful servant. This means trust in your part can make all the difference where it counts. He will be the righteous judge. People will Not. This last kid in the black shirt has willingly admitted he read the text and chooses to be the judge himself. Since you need years of study and restudy to see the connection in the bible, he has judged without understanding. You need the knowledge of the old testament to understand the new.
I'm fine with being lonely. Fewer people, fewer hurt. The difference between Abraham Lincoln and Jesus is that one was 150 years ago vs over 2000 years ago. There are also many forms of Christianity.
There's only one form of Christianity and that's following Jesus. Once you do something that Jesus wouldn't, it's not Christianity. I get what you mean though with all the denominations.
The shroud of toron is very interesting they tried to prove that it was painted or made by any other man made means. What they found out is the image is somehow burnt into it or chemically burnt into it. If it is a fake then it is much more advanced then our technology is today, so if the image is burnd in how did people hundreds or thousands of years ago know how to do this. If this was a technique of putting images on cloth there should be other examples of this technique. There is blood on it to however the definable images on it or not blood but a decoloration of the cloth, some speculate that the image is actually burnt into the cloth either with ultraviolet light on a spectrum that's beyond anything we know about, or with chemicals.

You young, why don't you try to believe why Cliffe working so hard, who gives him so much power to stick to his preaching, surely the Holy Spirit, right?
Wouldn't it be great if Jesus came back every decade or so to prove his divinity, how cool would that be, he could answer our questions and perform as many miracles as he wanted to prove he was who he said he was. And before he ascended back up into the clouds, he could give us the exact day and location where his next appearance would be.. on a totally different continent to appear in front of people in a different continent.. so, in the last 2000 years, .. he would have appeared about 200 times all over the globe to the worlds population. In my own lifetime he would have appeared over 6 times, and each time it would have been filmed and recorded for historical accuracy. It would be very difficult for me as a non believer to reject such an event every 10 years. How could any other religion/faith compete with such an event?
@@saintpaulofyoutube4416 Not quite sure what that emoji represents Jeff, you need to give it some context. Would you not love to see Jesus in the flesh every decade? .. what's not to like about that?
@@theoskeptomai2535 Maybe Theo. It would be good to get some Christian rebuttals as to why it wouldn't be a good thing to happen. To me, it's a WIN/WIN scenario for everyone.

I hope the last kid will come to know Christ.

@@peterberr3888 Yes indeed Peter, but it's going to make it harder for many women across the US in certain states to have access to an abortion as is their right at the moment. You're going to have a similar situation to what we had here in the UK for many decades.. young girls and women from Ireland having to get on a plane or Ferry to come to the mainland to have an abortion because the Catholic state deemed it illegal. And if you're poor it makes it much harder knowing your local family planning clinic has been shut down by the state. Who gets to say whether it's health related.. being denied the right to say what happens to your own body and having to give birth to an unwanted pregnancy is very much concerning your own health. both mentally and physically. I fully understand it's a very contentious issue for some people.. but at the end of the day a woman should have the right to say what happens to her own body.
Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me and know my anxious thoughts; And see if there be any hurtful way in me, And lead me in the everlasting way.

People forget that science is a verb or adverb.
Science is the study of or manner of studying something something, not an actual thing itself.
You could say that Cliff scientifically, through historical means/manner, studies the Bible.
Words, definitions, and usages are important.
To expound upon this all fully, the young man I first mentioned basically stated that he believed that "Science caused the big bang",
Hence my point.
That statement makes no sense because he didn't understand the word science and it's applicable uses in the English language.
Cliff is a con man, not a skeptic.
And your argument for that is what? Some evidence maybe? Something?

Ask 1000 followers of Copeland if he could resurrect someone from the dead. You know the answer
Ask 1000 followers of Copeland if they witnessed a resurrection performed by Copeland and at least 100 will testify on their life and the life of their children that they witnessed a resurrection done by one of the biggest spiritual con men in our day and age.
Should give you some idea about the value of testimonials in Jesus time.
People turn their wishes into beliefs and from that principle all religions are born.
Preach it and teach it!!! Amen

Deadly plague: only one remedy to protect yourself "Swallow a very thin piece of paper on which will be written: O Jesus, conqueror of death, save us! O Crux ave, Spes unica!" (May 27, 1880)
For the animals: hang a Saint Benedict medallion around their neck.
For crops: medal of Saint Benedict in the plantations.
During great calamities: recite the following prayer to the Holy Cross:
"I salute You, I adore You, I embrace You,
O adorable Cross of My Saviour!
Protect us, keep us, save us!
Jesus loved you so much!
Following His example, I love You!
Your holy image calms my fears,

The real reason why the unbelievers might separate themselves from the company of believers, is because the believers are inadvertently offending
them.
But the realisation that unbelievers will never accept believers as they do other unbelievers,
because they don’t feel that appreciation from us, although they should, is a good reality for us be aware of.

If this young lady in the glasses and black jacket is SO confident in her CURRENT faith, why is she NOT going to say what she believes???
You can't create your own meaning and morality anymore than a ship can create its own ocean.
but a ship can't create, and it depends on an already established foundation (water) to progress beyond its starting point. we can create, and we do, which allows us to progress beyond our starting point (nature) without an already established one (requires god to exist)

From what I’ve seen atheist for the MOST part, not all the time ofc have this in-ate drive to disprove God to somebody that’s just simply found faith in him. Personally I believe we all have free choice to believe what we want do and say what we want and so forth. @@sterlingfallsproductions3930 If a “Christian”gets off on being right in any debate, then I don’t see them as following in the footsteps of Christ tbh as he was the most humble man to ever live. Like I said man I’m going off of everything I’ve seen thus far.
Why is it so hard to believe in a “young earth”?
Firstly, God’s word clearly says that in six days He spoke creation into existence and rested on the seventh day. In Hebrew the word “yom” (day) combined with a number always speaks of a 24h day, and when God commands the Israelites to keep the sabbath He says
“For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day; therefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day and made it holy.”
Exodus 20:11
The only connection which is made between the work week and the creation week is the literal days-work six days, rest one day just as God did in creation.
“For when they maintain this, it escapes their notice that by the word of God the heavens existed long ago and the earth was formed out of water and by water, through which the world at that time was destroyed, being flooded with water.”
2 Peter 3:5-6
When they do rip you off, and you prove it to yourself, trust yourself first.
For some people, Jesus is their best friend and for a very good reason.
That's the whole point behind having a relationship with your savior, He might say, well done good and faithful servant.
This means trust in your part can make all the difference where it counts. He will be the righteous judge. People will Not.
This last kid in the black shirt has willingly admitted he read the text and chooses to be the judge himself.
