Yahya related to me from Malik from Zayd ibn Aslam from Ata ibn Yasar that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, “O Allah! Do not make my Grave an idol that is worshipped. The anger on those who took the Graves of their Prophets as places of prostration was terrible.” (Book #9, Hadith #9.24.88 Malik’s Muwatta)
Prophet Muhammad PBUH said “Duaa is worship” (Sunnan Abi Dawud, hadith 1474) (This clearly indicates that making dua to anybody is worship, be it to Allah, to prophet Muhammad, to the grave or to saints is worship)
From Abu Hurraira(RA) that the Messenger of Allaah (pbuh) said: "O Allaah, do not turn my grave into an idol. May the curse of Allaah be upon those who take the graves of their Prophets as places of worship." Imam Ahmad Hadith #7352
i myself was a sunni before i became ahle hadeeth and i used to go to darbars but when i read quran and hadeeth i changed but i do not follow the way people act it is the quran and sunnah we follow. the proofs and evidence that opposes durbars bidah etc the ahlul hadeeth are the only ones who worship allah alone without any parteners
Jabir said: Allaah's Messenger (pbuh) forbade that the graves:- should be plastered , they be used as sitting places (for the people), A building should be built over them. Sahih Muslim Hadith #2116
ALLAH (SWT) Says: "And they worship other than Allah that which neither harms them nor benefits them, and they say, "These are our intercessors with Allah " Say, "Do you inform Allah of something He does not know in the heavens or on the earth?" Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him" [Surah Yunus-10: 18]
“When My servants ask you about Me [tell them], ‘Verily I am close [to them]; I listen to the prayer of everyone who calls on Me. So let them respond to Me and believe in Me in order that the may be guided aright.’” (2:186)
ALLAH (SWT) Says: “Surely, the religion (i.e. the worship and the obedience) is for Allâh only. And those who take Auliyâ' (protectors, helpers, lords, gods) besides Him (say): "We worship them only that they may bring us near to Allâh." Verily, Allâh will judge between them concerning that wherein they differ. Truly, Allâh guides not him who is a liar, and a disbeliever.” [Surah Zumar - 39:3]
1076 'A'isha reported: Umm Habiba and Umm Salama made a mention before the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) of a church which they had seen in Abyssinia and which had pictures in it. The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: When a pious person amongst them (among the religious groups) dies they build a place of worship on his grave, and then decorate it with such pictures. They would be the worst of creatures on the Day of judgment in the sight of Allah.
I heard from the Apostle of Allah peace be upon him five days before his death and he said I stand acquitted before Allah that I took any one of you as friend for Allah has taken me as His friend as he took Ibrahim as His friend Had I taken any one of my Ummah as a friend I would have taken Abu Bakr as a friend Beware of those who preceded you and used to take the Graves of their prophets and righteous men as places of worship but you must not take Graves as mosques I forbid you to do that
It is narrated by Ahmad, with a good sanad,3 on the authority of Ibn Mas'ood (Radhi Allaahu Anhu), in a narration traced back to the Prophet (may Peace Be Upon Him) himself, the following: "Verily, the most wicked of people are those who, when the Hour overtakes them, are still alive, and those who take graves as places of worship." (Also Narrated by Abu Hatim in his Saheeh)
Do you worship besides Allah that which [cannot and] does not help you at all or harm you?” (21:66) “Those on whom you call besides Allah are only slaves like yourselves…” (7:194)
