He drove myself and 11 other siblings around for years in a similar ute, and I know what sort of impact these memories can have on us! Wow , what a fantastic gesture that was…I initially thought Papa Bear wasn’t that impressed until he realised it was real and it was in front of him , it was to see how much it meant to him. The FJ turned out really well , I’m not sure I could hand it over myself…look forward to the trip away episode and seeing that 350 turn it on and with petrol nudging $2 a litre I’d imagine you won’t be going too far.

when I was 14 years old, I saw one full of coffee beans going up in the hill, It looked like an old men walking so slow climbing the hill of course it was a Diesel FJ 45, I felt In love with the land cruiser. I'm 46 and just got the old guy we are working to put this guy in a good shape. The minute 12:00 took me down. You are an amazing son.

A wonderful restoration. Although it was for your dad, more important is the fact that you have preserved a part of motoring history. So many people have fond memories of these vehicles. A pity Toyota doesn't make them again. I'm sure there would be plenty of buyers!
