So ignorant, if you don't care for it good for you but not everyone is you. And it isn't just French but European, white pepper is not only for aesthetic but also it's much more milder in heat than the black pepper and has more flavor.
Have you told the Chinese they got their recipes from the French? Cause Chinese cuisine uses a TON of white pepper. The flavor is very different. And NO. You shouldn’t have black flecks in white sauce. You should also try some white pepper before you say it’s the same. It’s not.
