    I like this video. Thanks for the discussion, Bryan. Alternative history is fun to think about, especially when we understand just how close some of the key moments could have gone very differently. Take the peaceful transfer of power for instance. Today, it is not just in America but in so so many other places, the peaceful transfer of power has become a norm, a of-couse-that-how-it-is event that we take for granted. Back in the day when America first did it, the moment was the accumulation of tremendous efforts and sacrifices, from the Declaration of Independence, to the revolutionary war, these federalist papers, the ratification of the Const. and etc... all the way to the moment Washington stepped down to become an average citizen again. Any of these could have gone wrong and North America may have been very different today.

    Yeah, I completely agree. Was a momentous and delicate time in the history of the United States.
