"Do you remember Minutemen" is a huge understatement, this movie is possibly greater than lemonade mouth. The large amount of IQ you need to understand this movie is way to high for you to possibly to find the true meaning of the film which is that your past is always dependent on your future but you cant change your past but you can affect your present that will change your future
Minutemen is honestly an underrated DCOM. It has a great adventure feel to it, great interactions between the characters, the time travel concept is awesome, the humor is more character-driven and is born out of their interactions with each other, and it emphasized friendship more than romance, which is a nice change of pace. I just got done re-watching this movie an hour ago, and it's great. It's also well-acted, all the main players give solid performances, especially the 3 guys, Jason Dolley, Luke Benward and Nicholas Braun. I do agree with u though, the fact that the nerds suddenly became jerks after being helped is a part of the movie that I still find confusing. The way Derek is revealed to be a douche is more subtle and downplayed compared to most DCOMS.
Where’s the Ant Bully Video. Where’s the G-Force Video Where’s the Scooby-Doo 2 video Where’s the Wallace and Gromet video Where’s the Chicken Run Video
You should do “do you remember Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior?” that was my second favourite Disney Channel original movie after the Wizards of Waverly Place movie!
Just remembering Nicholas Braun from the Disney Channel days feels like a fever dream because after watching Succession, a mature HBO original, it took me a while to recognize him as the guy from Minute Men and Sky High. He’s much more different now then he was back then
This movie came out just when we were all getting nostalgic for Phil of the Future's adorable and innocent sci-fi vibe and SERIOUSLY hit the sweet spot! Also, to this day, I still can't believe it took me until my second or third viewing to realize Zeke was Zach was Sky High! Absolutely LOVED HIM in both of those roles and I completely agree they didn't give him enough screen time! Also....this soundtrack for this movie had some BOPS in it that I still LOVE today!!! "Run It Back Again" and "Like Woah" are seriously up there with "Into the Rush" (Twitches) and "Right Where You Want Me" (Return to Halloweentown) in terms of my favorite songs from DCOMs that aren't performed by the characters!
Yes, thank you so much! This movie was so amazing and I loved it so much! It's a shame I can't really watch it anywhere anymore but this movie was one of my childhood favorites and I'm so excited that you went over this movie. It's seriously so good.

listen, i’ve been watching your videos for a while but this is the first video to make me yell, out loud, “I DO” as soon as i read the title. nobody else i’ve talked to seems to remember this movie which is insane to me!
God, I love this movie! Thanks for reminding me, it’s been so long since I’ve watched it. I use to always catch reruns on Disney Channel, but would never mind rewatching it, since it’s such an enjoyable experience.
You should cover over the garden wall tbh that shit slapped in fifth grade and rewatching it now I still get chills watching it and especially the finale from the amazing animation it displays and the great plot and its development
I love the video but the one idea I was thinking about with the nerds’ changing personalities could be from the time travel. That because the universe had them predestined to be stuck in those positions, miraculously getting out by that of messing with the timeline. This caused a little chain reaction in that timeline that these kids are not nerds and have this sense of power and entitlement now as they went against what was supposed to happen. Idk just a fun little idea and maybe it’s just meant to kinda show time travel, no matter the good intent, causes ripples too big for any men, in this case, minutemen.
You know, Minutemen probably would have been a nice TV show actually. Imagine, every episode our 3 lovely protagonists do/see something bad, and then use the machine to make things how they want them to be, but every time they have to face inevitable consiquences of messing with time. For example, let's take this nerds from the movie, and how they started acting "cool", maybe Minutemen would come in turns with the fact, that by helping people to get what they want they will change for the worst, and how things should mostly stay consistent or something. Also mixing this "Messing with time travel is bad" message with good time travel expirience, so it wouldn't seem flat and all. Aaaand here we would have had enough screen time to fully develop all 3 main character, and their stories. Tell me, wouldn't that be at the very least interesting to see?
All facts, it was too short and didn't flesh out a lot of storylines and even the effects of time travels, plus even with Virgil his story with his love interest and ex friend needed more, so a series would definitely do this well.
High key though this movie was great and I can still watch it to this day. I mean it handled time travel in a serious way and it’s what got me into it as a child. Even the use of the butterfly effect even if it doesn’t work as a good message.
the one and only memory i have of this movie is knowing that it came out the last day i saw my bestfriend in elementary bc she moved to texas THAT day, it was the saddest thing ever & watching the countdown to when it was gonna come out was like watching a countdown of when i would have to say goodbye 😭 taylor ward if u remember ur elementary bestie AJ girl I MISS U 😭😭😭
