I love Christmas. It wasn't always like that though. My parents, grandmother, and my brother all died around that time of year. Now that I have a wife and kids, Christmas is once again, the happiest time of the year for me. I only wish my family could have met the family I helped to create with my wife. I had the honor of playing Ebenezer Scrooge five times, in five separate productions over the last 8 years. I listen to Christmas music they whole year round. It drives my coworkers nuts.
Have a Merry Christmas for You and Your Family❤ i can relate to your feelings of missing your parents, brother, grandparents.Surely you grow and always surrounded with love, care and warmth of Family Value. Sometimes we missed those who already left us, but they are here in any Holiday to celebrate with us, although we cant see them. Their presence always stays inside our hearts and mind❤.
When I think of Christmas it reminds me of Christmas past . Especially when you were a child . Putting up the tree and decorations you knew the big day was on its way. Writing lists for Santa clause, Getting the Radio times and seeing what movies were on and planning your whole day round that, latterly with blank video tapes ! The anticipation of the big day itself was magical , smelling the Turkey cooking on Christmas morning was very special. And then after eating loads of chocolate! the family meal and visiting grandparents etc Sometimes we stayed over there on Christmas Eve and I wondered if Santa knew I wasn’t at home ! But alas I got my Hornby train set and Airfix kits! I can mind saying to my mum when I was a child I wish it was Christmas everyday ! And she replied “ No you don’t “ 😂 Christmas in the 1970s seemed better probably as I was a child and my parents along with many others worked hard to provide everything. We as children just thought it happened and Santa was responsible. We made special traditions over the years… and kept them going As the years rolled by sadly the grandparents passed away , then we all had new traditions. Then sadly mum and recently dad have now passed away . The family becomes splintered and we all Do different things on the day itself . I have tried to continue the Chrismas magic with our four children and wife over the years and make it special with traditional things my lovely mum started. But … It’s not the same. The true magic of Christmas and an amazing childhood was all around us as children Only we didn’t know it at the time…. It was our parents 😢
I love your station I listen to it first thing in the morning and all day long when ever I can thank you it’s starts at 6:00 am to about 6:00 pm thank you😊

Christmas songs year round would irritate me too. Don’t you have any respect for how they feel? And you’re aware of it which makes it worse.
Love these classic songs . I'm 71 and they hold a special place in my heart .
Thank you and wish you good health and happiness in life. Enjoy the music.
I am 71, too.

This is the first year I'm alone. Dads dead, moms dead. sisters dead. I'm the last one. I'm only 55. Hard to feel Christmas.
Sad to hear. Hope you find happiness before Christmas.
Very sorry to hear that. Find someone to spend this Christmas with, there's still time.
