I love sprint cars, big sprint car guy on iracing, but watching this has gotten me to try late models and let me tell ya these things are fun! Awesome driving as always from the outlaws
Congrats on waking up and realizing Late Models are where its at👍 seriously though I came from loving sprints to loving Late model's they are better run right now then Woo sprints or any sprint series for that matter right now, talent level is insane and the competition is out of this world. All series come together unlike Woo sprints who holds there guys back from running anything else the Late models are racing for way more money and the series all come together its a real beauty.there is hope with the High Limit sprint series but you know the Woo guys will not be aloud to compete
I’m 27 years old when I was 12 years old my parents purchased a business and my dad being an avid race fan he starts sponsoring cars. So this opened up crazy opportunities and getting involved in race crews and teams. Then get crazy and create you own small town dirt late and crate team. A lot of busted knuckles, teeth, blood, sweat, tears, heartbreak, love, compassion friends, and enemies that come out of those situations. But you find yourself in those moments you will never forget those memories or who you are after that. The fans of racing have know idea what goes on behind the scenes of putting those drivers, cars and teams together. I would hate to count the races and the amount of money spent getting me into the pits to work my ass of for a car and driver to never even see his car on the track because your getting shocks, spacers, bars, wheels, and tires ready for feature. Then when it’s feature time cleaning and packing tools and walking dogs getting ready for your 8 hour drive home so you can be at work the next day to pay for $100,000 racecar, your pit pass, your gas money to pull the car to the races. These small town hero drivers, and small town bull rings has a special place in my heart. I even proposed to my wife at the world 100 in 2015 during a rain out… when I die I want to be buried in the center of Eldora 5 hours away from my house because I’ll never forget the first time I walked through the gates of heaven….
@@bjfrazier4895 I’m pretty sure that they forgot. After reading the post it was after qualifying and not the heat race. They qualified 4th quick and guaranteed to start on the front row of a heat but ended up starting last, and couldn’t get through the field to make the A
So it looks like hunt the front wasn't good enough again to make the big show , they need to stay down south and run the super late model shows that they can run up front and possibly win they just not good enough yet to run with these guys
@@CentralPAMountainRiders numb nut by doin what I said it helps you learn to read tracks better and make set up changes but when you run in the back every race that just helps you get shit tore up and makes you spend more then you win plus I just said for a year then go back to racein the real big races
@@jimjohn5348 yea ok, sounds like you run 4 cylinder. You just explained why you wrote the message you did by replying like that. Anyone with two first names prob never saw a track let alone a seat of a car. Numb nut, who the hell are you talking to.
@@jimjohn5348 And secondly, shoes how much you know about hunt the front. They've all been running since they were kids. I'm sure if they felt they could learn more by staying at home they would. You don't know how you measure up to the big boys by staying at home..but hey, you do you buddy...I'm sure it works out great for you.
They qualified 4th in their group but apparently forgot to cross the scales after qualifying... Who forgets to scale after anything? You'd think they ran enough races to know you have to scale 🤷♂️
During the Summer Nationals I saw Tanner English parked in a parking lot in Lincoln IL scaling his car 3 days in a row while Macon and the other tracks rained out. He wasn’t worried about touring the new Rivian plant 30 miles north of him. That’s why Tanner English is going to win the Rookie of the year honors and probably finish top 5 in points.
Dang hate superman had to shut the piwer plant down because i think Marler had his # tonight that car was eating on the high side that would have been a heck of a battle for the W! Good job Marler!!!

I grew up at Knoxville raceway watching sprint car's. After watching the late model nationals I've watched more late model races than sprint car's.
Mike Marlar is a true gentleman and one hell of a racer
These commentators are fucking great!
Man I thought it was the B1 Bombers night.. Really would have been awesome to see brent get his 1st outlaw win..
DIRT ALL DAY
There's nothing like late model dirt track racing
Great run for Tanner English. Stand up Benton, Ky
I’m a Davenport die hard, but who doesn’t appreciate a Mike Marlar win.
Especially in that “Blue Horn”

Congrats on the win! But a huge congrats to B1 Larson nice to see him up front, nice job good driving .
Winfield, TN here Mike Marlar is on fire this year but he usually is always good!
Huntsville TN here, Mikey is having an awesome year, proud of him!

HTF didn't make it 😣
DQed in heat race because they didn’t go across the scale
@ColeOlson those guys seem legit. Did they forget they had to scale or knew better than to scale?

I know these guys and I promise you they didn't not want to cross, they just made a mistake. Honest good ppl...
That was my thoughts guys, had to ask. I’m subbed to their channel and they seem like they’re good ppl.
What happened to JD? Oh well good racing.

Tanner and Gordy are start to pick it up. Tanner going to get a win before the season over
What happened to JD?
He crapped his fire suit. 🦨💨💩
Haven't seen brent wheeling it this well in a long time hope that he finds a groove the rest of the year
Because it used to be his home track, if he ever has a chance at winning anything it's here.
Brent and his team have put up a strong performance all year considering their budget compared to other teams
wonder what happened to the HTF boys another did not qualify
They would rather tour different places than work on a good setup.
