  • Chloe Bailey has just announced her new single 'HOW DOES IT FEEL' will be with Chris Brown and most of her fans weren't feeling it. They responded that they would not be interested in supporting the single and that was followed by Chris Brown clapping back at folks online including Kiely Williams who said that Chris Browns uses Black female artists.

I think that if Chris brown wasn't a colorist and carried himself in a conservative and humble way then showed support for DV victims for years after the Rihanna incident he'd be in a better place but he hasn't change or grown in anyway.
I don't support him financially but if someone else plays his music I might bob my head but I don't actively seek his music.

Chloe has more creative freedom than her peers. She's said she loves him and wants to work with him so this was definitely exciting for her. I just don't understand how she didn't see her peers (most recently Normani) get chewed up for simply being in his video and decided to do a song with him. I will say someone said Chris Brown wanted to work with Beyonce and they gave him Chloe's number I cackled. Chris Brown is grown and couldn't keep his mouth shut meanwhile Chloe posted and moved on. It's disappointing but not surprising, many of our faves love Chris Brown and it's up to each consumer to figure out to what extend we'll support. And just like Justin said we don't have to do a thing.

Exactly, because from what I’ve seen down through the years Beyoncé don’t fucc with Chris. I just feel so bad for this girl, and I haven’t even been able to really check for her music because the nasty girl promotion and imaging is very distracting to me-not just Chloe, Cardi of late, and I couldn’t make it past the first minute of that song with Future on Meg’s album: I’m just really not into all the putting BW in position to compete to be the biggest hyper-sexual icon and basing what their value in the market is on who they’re fuccn-I hate it. This is why I don’t want Tinashe’s name brought up in this because she’s been around doing the damn thing with actual talent and being a whole producer and engineer tryna push the other girlies to get on the computer, instead of it being all about who she’s fuccn and her proximity to xiggashit. Yeah she did a collab with CB back in the day, but that was when we still had hope for him maturing and him and Rhi were still good, after that, CB, Future, Young Thug, etc. they all just got WORSE and by that time she had moved on to being independent, which, actually I want for ALL THE GIRLIES!!
Also, I think about about how Jayoncé used to distance themselves from Kanyé whenever he would go too far-DESPITE HIM BEING THE BIGGEST TALENT IN THE WORLD-so I don’t agree with some of these people who are trying to justify this really bad move by saying “He’s gonna give her a hit!” Even if he does “Give her a hit!” somehow after his own album flopped, how far forward is that going to take her? Then what? Don’t we want to support her based upon what SHE GIVES, and what SHE MAKES???

I hate that, much like Massa’s leftovers in the plantation days (where we get chitterlings), cheap and tawdry tabloid tactics are given way more to black girls and they have to sell what ytbiches don’t. And we have a couple examples of how now that they’ve reached the career and financial milestones they sought, ytbiches and even a couple Asian ones are shedding the cosmetic blackface they bought.

Let us stay focused on the BASIS for outrage, and the reality that NO ONE is entitled to get away with bad behavior just because they are talented: especially when there is a persistent, unrepentant pattern.
If YOU do wrong, as an adult, as a man, as a woman, as a G, as a leader, as a Real One, YOUR APPROPRIATE FOCUS IS NOT whether other who “did the same thing” are receiving consequences too and to the level YOU HAVE JUDGED THEY SHOULD-NO, that hog seat is yours and yours only. If CB would have matured based upon this instead of just acting the part ling enough to get cleared out of court after that whole Rhianna thing, if it was more demonstratively apart of his CHARACTER, we would not be here.
There are various contexts and nuances that don’t qualify Chris or anyone else to justify him based upon the alleged “same” actions of others; especially the fact that most people under the influence of Mainstream Media take time to REALIZE where they went wrong in creating entitled-assholes in front of us further down the line. He had his time of world domination and being “America’s Sweetheart”…HE, CHRIS BROWN, WITH. HIS. OWN. CONSISTENT. CHOSEN. ACTIONS. FUCCED THAT OFF. No one is OBLIGATED to tolerate his terrible attitude toward making corrections the people who put him where he is want to see in him, based upon his thinking that said people are beneath, because that IS WHAT THIS IS.

I think the biggest reason we, the consuming and appreciator public, are still being treated so badly by these celebrities and entertainers-besides the fact we are not consistently, collectively rebuking their fucced up actions and attitudes in a financial way-is because too many among US still dream of one day BECOMING, BASICALLY THE YTMALE WHO OPPRESSES EVERYONE NOT HIM; like we still think “making it” is by yttie’s capitalistic standards rather than by community, which our capitalism should SERVE.

Three: as for Chris Brown, I haven’t listened to his music since early 2000’s. At first I agreed that they don’t need to be holding his feet to the fire for something he did at 19. However, I just found out about the Karreuche incident so I do think ppl now supporting him is justified.
