I hope this continues. It's hard to lose that brilliant first opening that really seemed to define the series, but this one with its simple "dan dan dadadan" makes you not feel the loss much like they're all so tailor-made for this show
The parts with Okarun’s POV seeing only color through his glasses is an amazing touch.

I really love how Okarun's POV is colorless and slow, but becomes the opposite whenever Momo is on it. Damn, this intro goes crazy like the first one, but for different reasons and I love it.

1:09 man i got chills when okurun was barreling down the dark tunnel and then momo grabs his hand and the darkness lights up its a pretty good representation of what momo did for okuruns life

its really a first half is okarun, second is momo, kinda thing.

The first opening raised the bar so high and this comes veeery close to meeting it. Just a different vibe which matches better with this arc. One of the most fun shows airing atm, who knew a guy searching for his balls would turn into such a gem of a show.

The Japanese LOVE, and its been infused into a lot of their music from pretty early on. They're really great at putting those jazzy funk elements into some dance pop and its an incredible mix.

Besides the red, since that’s turbo granny’s color. I know that some colors could be reused for enemy sake but some colors feels too synonymous (red=TG, pink =AS, EE = purple).

Best part about this series is that the guy who made it was struggling to get something out. He was given freedom to draw whatever at one point and ended up making a mishmash of all his favorite stories in the art. Paid homage to a ton of great works in the details.
Then he had the MC's nuts get stolen as the kickoff point for the series. Based.
It's weird it's fun it's badass it's the most unhinged thing ever it has the most weird moments ever and that's what makes it so fun this opening just encapsulates all of that

I'd say that it's rather unlikely, Imaishi, as crazy as he is, doesn't really make his characters look *this* angular and rugged, his drawings are usually more detailed and the animation is somehow even more timing-dependent. The final scene of them running through the dark tunnel also seems unlike him, I bet he'd include some gorgeous wakame shadows as he does often. As for who animated that, I think it was the same animator who did the final sequence in episode 9, the one where Okarun, Momo and Aira run away naked, the drawings seem matching.
Props to knowing animators, but it really doesn't look like something he'd animate. It's done by Shuuto Enomoto, who storyboarded and animated a lot on episode 7 of season 1

I was surprised when he became a significant character in the story since he definitely has that one-off character vibe. Honestly it's pretty refreshing.

Everything about this is fantastic, I wasn’t sure how they would be able to match the first opening but somehow they did. The animation just completely exceeded my expectations, bro these openings don’t miss.

Nah the "da da dada dan" part is incredible this is actually very cute. I can’t wait to see how their love story blossoms even more this season. I can't believe no one's talking about Aina from Bish singing this opening! This is absolutely amazing! I love it! ❤❤❤

I like how DANDADAN is used in the song _("Dan-dan-da-da-dan-" "Dan-da-dan-da-dan")_ that was the main thing I was hoping for with the new theme. But BLESS, with the music and ankmation. That is one of the best POV segments I've ever seen and the shot zooming through the forest when we see the title. The vocals are stunning. I already saw the premiere in theaters but I can't wait for the full release
The entire intro is INSANE but near the end when okarun and momo are flying through the air that colorful stylized animation is beautiful

It’s crazy how fast season 2 came around. It’s almost like season 1 wasn’t supposed to end on an outrageous cliffhanger and season 2 was actually part of season 1 and they artificially split it up for no reason at all.
